Tommy Café ressort comme un spot de brunch prisé, lumineux et cosy, avec une décoration soignée et une ambiance chaleureuse qui crée une expérience agréable pour des matinées ou des après-midi entre amis ou en famille. La carte offre une grande variété de plats généreux et bien présentés, du avocado toast et des eggs Benedict aux options grecques ou shakshuka, accompagnés d'un café souvent apprécié pour sa qualité; les portions sont généreuses et le rapport qualité-prix est jugé correct par beaucoup. Le service est globalement sympathique et attentif, mais peut devenir lent lorsque l établissement est très fréquenté, et certains estiment que ce manque de fluidité nuit à l'expérience. Des témoignages mettent en avant l énergie du lieu et le cadre attractif proche du vieux port, mais d'autres remarquent des occasions où certains plats ne répondent pas exactement aux attentes ou des tarifs plus élevés. Finding a table is a bit chaotic, they have no system & we waited a while while three different people asked us if we're waiting then each disappeared & never came back! But we got there in the end & the food was very good
We discovered this café by chance while looking for breakfast. Cozy vibe, tempting menu, & the food is just fantastic. Friendly service included-highly recommend! & text the Cookies!
Emily was incredible! She was the most thoughtful server I have met in a long time. She made our girls trip breakfast so fun & memorable! The food was fantastic too!

Your kindness-offering comfort, water, & even croissants-turned a frightening moment into one we will always remember. For others, it might have been a small act on an ordinary day, but for us, it was unforgettable.

Je suis allé déjeuner ce matin, la nourriture était correcte . Par contre, lorsque j'ai demandé un verre d'EAU, le serveur m'a apporté une bouteille en m'indiquant que l'eau était désormais payante. Je trouve ça complètement aberrant, même le serveur trouvait ça ridicule ! En 2025, tout de même… Je comprends que vous vouliez rentabiliser votre service, mais il y a des limites. Honnêtement, je vais réfléchir à deux fois avant de retourner dans ce restaurant.
Breakfast was phenomenal! Place had a live atmosphere. The food was tremendous douse. Truffle Benedict was delicious & the side salad was a nice great touch with just a perfect drizzle of balsamic.

Par contre je n'y retourne plus les serveurs m'ont expliqué que le gérant essaie quelque chose de nouveau : ils ne servent plus d'eau aux clients ont doit payer l'eau
Je suis très déçue & c'est la première fois à mtl qu'on refuse de nous servir de l'eau en mentionnant que c'est payant

Stumbled upon the cage while looking for late brunch in Montreal. The service was fun & warm. We ended up joking with multiple servers who were also very serious about hospitality. The Athena avocado toast was fantastic, & the atmosphere was lovely & cozy. Felt like being back in a little French bistro in Paris.

First time in old Montreal & we hungry...found this cute place & were seated right away..the staff are all wonderful..
The food was so tasty & served quick
Loved my Greek omelette & chai latte .. the potatoes were not good almost tasted old. my husband had with the prosciutto omelette

It was a Saturday afternoon so it was quite buzzing
We loved this spot for brunch! We were staying in Montreal for the weekend & after discovering it, we went back a second time the next morning. Service was wonderful & the baristas know what they're doing! The food was high quality & delicious. I had the Lyla Fizz & a matcha latte to drink & both were incredible! I loved the decor & felt like we were transported into a tropical destination. The cafe was tight on space but wasn't a problem for us. Thank you Tommy Cafe for starting our mornings off right!
The takeout iced americano I had was absolutely delicious! It was probably the best coffee I've had during my entire year living in Canada. The taste just keeps coming back to me, & I can't stop thinking about it. I really wanted to try other items on their menu, but unfortunately my schedule didn't allow it. I'm definitely planning to visit again on my next trip to Montreal!

Great breakfaat/brunch cafe. The prices are a bit high but the plates are good. I ordered the truffle eggs benedict & it was filling & tasty. You can tell they use alot of nature ingredients for their foods. The potatoes on the side by the way were excellent. I usually prefer crunchy potatoes but the way they seasoned them & cooked them to where they have a shape but easily turn into mashed potatoes once you eat it was amazing! They have another location around the block. I recommend if in the area & looking for a brunch spot.
Listen, their sense of urgency was top notch. Nothing I love more than people who move fast. Waiters were hustling. Weekends will be a lil busy so we waited 15 mins before we got seated but the food came RIGHT away. The chai was so so so good. Chugged the chai. Great eggs Benedict.
Such a lovely place
We were a group of 5 on a Sunday morning we came in right on time before it became packed. Highly recommended. Service, food, coffee, everything was wonderful
