The Rosé Tteokbokki is their most popular dish, & it was incredibly creamy & delicious. For the fried chicken, we chose both the Yangnyeom & Soy Garlic sauces, & both were perfectly savory & full of flavor. The food was excellent, & the service was just as great. We had a wonderful experience & would 100% recommend this restaurant!
I visited here with a friend today! We tried the Tteokbokki & the Sausage Rice Cake
Skewers, & the sauce was absolutely delicious. We both loved them so much.
The place was super clean, & the staff were so friendly. We were so happy with the food & service. We'll definitely be back to try more items on the menu!
Maybe the best Korean food in Montreal. The fried chicken is really good & the tofu soup is the best dish in my opinion
My friend received a meal that was way too salty. When we let the waiter know, she didn't even apologize or seem to care
'I'm sorry, but if you're not able to accept constructive criticism, you shouldn't be running a restaurant. As a returning customer, I had originally left a 5-star review because I genuinely enjoyed my previous experience. Unfortunately, after the poor quality of service we received & the way the person at the cash handled the situation, I had no choice but to remove that review.
To make matters worse, my friend was sick for the rest of the day after eating the eggs we were served. Whether or not the eggs were the cause, it's a serious concern that deserved to be taken seriously, not dismissed.
What's even more disappointing is the way you're responding to criticism. Instead of acknowledging the issue or offering an apology, you're reacting defensively. Customer feedback is an opportunity to improve, & the way you've handled this situation has been completely unacceptable.'
Really bad service. The girl was very mean & disrespectful. There was a really bad smell in the restaurant & it was soooo small. I don't recommend eating here.
this restaurant was awful, the food was salty & literally hurt my mouth; so i politely told her after eating none of my food due to this (i've literally never been picky before about anything!) & asked her for a refund extremely politely, to which she was super rude & handed me a 5$ bill (on a 20$ order) & told me that the food has never had complaints before. when i apologized profusely she gave me a nasty look & i was shocked at the disrespect to customers. then she TOOK BACK the food without refund so my friend couldn't even try to fix it at home maybe as to not waste money or food. my other friend payed extra for noodles to which she never recieved & when asked for them recieved terrible customer service (& believe it or not) no refund. as for the food itself the noodles were extremely overcooked & gummy, the rice cakes were actually pretty good & the eggs had green around the yolk which indicates they're days old. NEVER visit here unless you want to be in a cramped tiny restaurant where the service will leave you shocked.
The foods were really good, I enjoyed coming here & being able to eat delicious, well made food. If you're wondering how the service works... After figurine out what you'd like to eat, you must go see them in the front to tell them what you'd like to order & go back to your sit. The atmosphere is really chill & cozy, it gives off Gen Z vibe, comfy, pretty & clean. For people against plastic, the drinks are in cans & the bottles are in plastic. Service was difficult to be done too, some missing orders a bit & difficult payment.
Really happy to find another street food place in Montreal as I think it's something the city is really missing. We ordered the kimchi fries with fried chicken combo & the kim mari. I enjoyed everything especially the fries. We will be back to try more items on the menu. I also enjoyed the art work on the walls. It didn't seem to be made by ai or canva which is rare these days!
Le nom sur la porte est Toki.
Super restaurant, c'est rapide, cute, abordable & la bouffe est bonne.
Nous avons commandé du tteokbokki & du riz barbecue coréen. C'était délicieux.
