There is a mirror with props to take pictures, which is fun. There aren't many places (about 15 seats), but it wasn't crowded when we went during lunch time. The music was at a good volume. The food is presented nicely. The portions are small, so I would recommend going to snack more than to actually eat a meal. I got the tteokbokki without anything added to it, which was about 15$ with taxes & tips. The other people in my group paid about 20$ for what they got. For the portion, it felt a little expensive, especially when compared with other places. I would go there more for the atmosphere than the food.
Had a nice lunch on a calm day. I had a tteokbokki craving & this place hits the right spots. It wasn't too too spicy & very delicious. Everything was very tasty & fresh! I got combo 1, a classic tteokbokki & vege dumplings, shared between 3 people. It was pretty filling & definitely worth every penny. Even if the space is very small, I can't wait to go back. I recommend it to groups with around 2 & to go on calm days to find seating :)
The place was great! I've seen lots of video online about it & wanted to go try it. We ordered both the combos & nothing was left. The rosé tteokbokki is a must try!! It was light & the rice cakes were cooked perfectly with the rosé sauce super addictive. The fried chicken was so juicy & was amazingly flavourful. The kimchi fries did not disappoint me & it goes so well together. All the dishes were good & I don't have a single complaint. I wish the restaurant was bigger but other than that I recommend it & you should try it the next time you see it.
Delicious 😋 FOOD: I ordered the rosée tteokbokki & brown sugar matcha, so I can't speak for everything but it was good. The tteokbokki is slightly spicy for folks who don't eat spice for others it's mild. It was such a fun chewy texture, I would eat them like that, also note better to eat in cooler weather eating on a hot day will just make it hard to eat. For the matcha it was matcha 😋 only small point is the straw is on the small side making it hard to mix in the brown sugar. I'll definitely go back to try more 😊. SERVICE: There is someone up front & folks in the back, the girl in the front was really nice & food was delivered in an appropriate amount of time. LOCATION: it is a small place where you could sit maybe 15 people, so keep in mind if you're a big group & want to sit & eat. The place is very cute & the music is at a good volume. I'll update when I try something new 😊
Really tasty chicken & tteokbokki! The place is decorated really nicely so it's good to take pictures :)
Je suis venue avec Mes parents pour célébrer mon bulletin. J'ai choisi Toki pour la décoration, l'ambiance K-POP & les tteokbokki. C'était SUPER! - Ora-Laleen
An adorable little place with a lovely atmosphere, perfect service & delicious food at an affordable price. The rose tteokbokki was fantastic! A must!
It tastes exactly like the old cup tteokbokki I used to eat as a kid after my piano lessons back in Korea, it is def authentic.
Great korean food. Tteokbokki was very good & sauce had a lot of flavour. Place is a bit small but good for a quick bite
The food is so good the place is so cute the tteokbokki is very tasty With glass noodles & the service is amazing
Let me start off by saying the atmosphere is very cozy. There is only seating for about 5 groups of 2 people. Most people coming in were ordering for take out. The decoration is very cute, pinkish pastel & with aesthetic graphics similar to South Korean design trends. The food itself was very good, the Rose Tteokbokki were amazing, well portioned for the price. I removed a star because of the Fried chicken portions as I feel they were a little bit too small in comparison to other places. Of course, this place is niche to Korean Street Food which isn't as common in Montreal. The chicken itself is amazing, definitely a highlight. The kimchi fries had both beef & pork as well as some scallions & other sauces. The drinks were honestly my favourite item on the menu as they are truly as refreshing as they are advertised. The Yuzu Lemon drink was AMAZING. So good, a must, I recommend! The Strawberry lychee was good as well, a tad bit sweeter as it doesn't really have sour to it. Another item we tried was the Dalgona + Latte, the dalgona sugar cookie is so wonderful because as it melts it infuses the iced latte with sugar. The drink gets sweeter & sweeter everytime you drink it. Enjoy it fast if you prefer it less sweet, enjoy it slowly if you prefer the sweetness. The service was wonderful, the person at the counter was VERY patient & nice. I can't imagine how annoying it must be to have customers come in & spend minutes thinking about what they will order when they are already at the register. Props to the kitchen team as well for delivering out the food in a very timely manner without compromising the taste & the textures. For those wondering, the packaging is your standard cardboard/carton packaging so, environmentally friendly to some extent excluding the fact that the drinks are given in your average plastic cup.
