I ordered a classic tteokbokki with added fish cake. I'm surprised you have to pay to add the fish cake because it's usually included. Regardless, the tteokbokki sauce was delicious & on the sweeter side. I also order a small yangyyeom chicken. The chicken could have used more yangyeom sauce but it's made with thigh meat so it was juicy & delicious. The food came out really quickly which made sense as this was korean street food. Overall, i'd come back to try the other dishes too or try a different kind of tteokkbokki. The interior is decorated really cutely with lots of rabbit designs & plush true to their store name Toki.
Tiny Korean restaurant with delicious food. My husband & I got the Combo 1 & Combo 2 & shared. We loved the variety & everything was tasty.
The Korean fried chicken was crispy on the outside & tender & juicy on the inside. I love that it came in 2 different flavours. The kimchi fries were phenomenal. Fries, kimchi, beef bulgogi, cheese & sauce. So rich & over the top, lol. 😅 The coleslaw was so refreshing. I wished there was more of it. The tteokbokki was soft & chewy & the sauce was amazing. Loved the gimmari, fish cake slices, dumplings, onion rings & shrimp chips. The rice cake skewers were good. They are fried so a different texture than the tteokbokki.
Definitely recommend!! 💖
Best Korean fried chicken, or fried chicken in general that I've ever had in my life
Everything was great!! Must try ganjung chicken & rosè tteokbokki
Just one complain , it's really small so the waiting time is long even if there's a small
number of people & if you are planning to come with big friends group it's better for take out as space is not guaranteed
Very cute Korean-street food place. I had fried chicken & Tteok-bokki with noodles it was really good.
The tables are really small, so it's recommended for small groups (~3 ppl)
Delicious tender chicken, amazing sauces, cheap prices. So good.
Nice little spot, the food is good, I got tteokbokki with extra noodle (7.5/10) & the sweet & spicy boneless Chicken (7/10). A bit pricey for the quantity but would still recommend. :)
The cashier was super friendly & welcoming. He was very patient with us as a big group of people coming in. The food was so good, the chicken super crispy & the kimchi fries had a balanced flow out with the slightly sour kimchi & salty fries & bulgogi!
Adorable place & delicious food. Kimchi fries were generously topped & fried chicken was crispy. Tteokbokki has lots of options for additional toppings. Drinks were also very refreshing! If you don't want to risk not having a seat, recommend getting takeout - turnaround was very quick for people who came in to order to go.
The food was really great, very flavourful. Especially the fried boneless chicken over rice, the worker there was really nice too. The interior its really cute too!
Toki sells itself on its atmosphere, the cutsy, K-pop, pastel pink aesthetic that allowed for it to go viral. It's strange then that the shop itself is relatively small & the seats relatively uncomfortable. No complaints because it was empty when we arrived & we sat for as long as we wanted. The portion of the fried chicken was generous for the price (fingers pointed at Nos Thes & Majesthe for their kaarage) & decent but not exceptional. I'd come back for their kimchi fries - if they'd open late, I'd definitely be here for a late night snack.
The menu at Toki is a delightful journey through flavors & textures. Each dish is a testament to the chef's creativity & expertise. The appetizers set the tone beautifully - the crispy chicken & the flavorfull rice cakes were standout starters. Toki offers an outstanding lunch experience with its delicious food, exceptional service, & inviting atmosphere. It's a place that promises to leave you satisfied & eager to return. Highly recommended!
Such a cute place to go eat Korean street food!!! Tasty fried chicken & loved their rosé tteokbokki. Overall very tasty ! 😋
Very nice place with nice staff, highly recommend the sweet spicy chicken bowl.
very cute spot, but limited seating inside. i enjoyed everything we got. love their rosé tteokbokki, it's so flavourful & perfectly chewy & just the right amount of spice for me. also rly like their fried chicken, again good flavour & texture & not dry at all. their pork kimchi fries are pretty loaded & a good snack, but it comes with wasabi mayo on top which i wouldve been okay without. sausage & rice cake skewers also good
Decor is nice. I had their GangJung chicken & it was delicious. It is a bit pricey though ($10) for a small portion.
I ordered rice bowl bulgogi & it tastes very good with kimchi. Soy chicken is delicious as well as the kimchi fries. Small place but very cute & clean.
The place was great! I've seen lots of video online about it & wanted to go try it. We ordered both the combos & nothing was left. The rosé tteokbokki is a must try!! It was light & the rice cakes were cooked perfectly with the rosé sauce super addictive. The fried chicken was so juicy & was amazingly flavourful. The kimchi fries did not disappoint me & it goes so well together. All the dishes were good & I don't have a single complaint. I wish the restaurant was bigger but other than that I recommend it & you should try it the next time you see it.
