Try the classic ceviche, yuca fries, duck anticucho, suspiró (for dessert), pisco sour (for drinks). I always go to Tiradito when I come to MTL, such good Peruvian food.View more
Food was creative & fun as always. Good vibe.. a must for a fun evening with amazing Peruvian cocktails & food that is just so fresh & tasty every time !View more
Absolutely blown away by Tiradito, Montreal's hottest spot for Peruvian eats & beats! As a Peruvian guy, I can confidently say this is the best Peruvian restaurant in the city.
First off, the vibe is electric: a sleek, tapas-style bar where everyone sits together, soaking up the energy of the open kitchen & the buzz of cocktail shakers in action. The staff bring that perfect mix of warmth & professionalism.
Now, the food. The tapas-style plates are perfect for sharing & exploring the menu's full range. You'll want to try everything: the ceviche is simply mind-blowing-fresh, zesty, & packed with flavor, easily the best in Montreal.
Drinks? The Pisco Sour is legendary, but don't sleep on the Maracuyá Sour if you're into passionfruit. The cocktail menu is as creative as the food, & every sip feels like a celebration.
Tiradito is more than a restaurant-it's an experience. Whether you're here for a few tapas & drinks or a full-on feast, you'll leave impressed, satisfied, & already planning your next visit.
For anyone looking for authentic Peruvian flavors with a modern twist, this is your spot. Trust me, as a local Peruvian, Tiradito is the real deal!View more
If you really like peruvian you HAVE to come to this place. If you don't know peruvian, you HAVE to try it! The food was to die for & the service was amazing! 12/10 would recommend.View more
I had an amazing Peruvian ceviche - super fresh & full of flavor! I also loved the yuca fries; they were perfectly crispy on the outside & soft on the inside. Such a great way to kill the nostalgia for South America!View more
Good atmosphere, good service, but not peruvian (only the name). I went there expecting peruvian flavors, & I get really disappointed. Good are food if you're searching montreal's food, NOT peruvian. The picarones are the worst i ever tried. But the shrimps were good.View more
Great Peruvian food, & the pisco sour is awesome.View more
Lovely place, great peruvian fussion food. These flavours are not easy to produce, I was able to taste them in every bite. All the dishes we ordered were delicious, however my least favourite was the salmon tiradito. That's why I rated them
4 stars. The ceviche was exquisite & so was the chicharron 😍. We loved the service & the atmosphere. I had my friends try the pisco sour, we loved them too.View more
Peruvian restaurant, we were 2 & shared 4 dishes & were fullllll. The vibe is so cool too, neon sign & bar tables. The food is SO delicious & cooked to perfection. Best octopus I've had in my life & the ceviche was to die for. Food wise this restaurant deserves 10000/10 alone.View more
Tiradito was recommended to us by the bartender at our hotel & I'm glad we tried it. Fun vibe, signature cocktails, & unique & delicious menu - combination of Peruvian & Japanese. We loved it!View more
I recently visited this Peruvian restaurant & had an excellent experience! The vibe is fantastic, creating the perfect atmosphere for enjoying a great meal. The food & drinks are authentically Peruvian, full of rich flavors & crafted beautifully. It's definitely a must-visit spot if you're looking to try real Peruvian cuisine. Highly recommended!View more
A friend of us recommended this restaurant for their Tapas. Although the Peruvian food here is not really tapas, the dishes do come in small plates. To be honest, food is not amazing & the sauces taste all the same. The ambiance though, is nice & dynamic. The chef prepares food right in front of the you.View more
This was my first time visiting this restau-bar with a friend. The food was tasty & the cocktails were also enjoyable. However, be aware that the portions are really small, more like appetizer/tapas size, which we weren't expecting. If you're just looking for a very light bite & mainly there for the cocktails, it might be a good spot. But if you're planning to have a proper peruvian meal, this may not be the best choice. Another downside is that there are no proper tables, just bar seating, which felt cramped & uncomfortable, especially being squeezed in between other people. I think this place could have more potential, if they offer larger portions, not just appetizer-style dishes, & have proper tables for people who are actually looking to dine in, not just sit at a bar. Despite the good food, I don't think I'll be coming back unfortunatelyView more
FOOD: As a Peruvian the food is meh & more a fusion... not bad but small portions of food that aren't all that great for 20$ each.... Not really worth it. Drink was fermented (chicha morada), disappointed in that regard SERVICE: Went with my dad to eat there he got his meal first & mine came in 20 mins after, long after he was finished... :// ATMOSPHERE: Fancy looking places, a tad crowded thoughView more
Small plates & tapas at 14-25 dollars each, probably 2.5 tapas each person to be semi full, we had a caramel pudding dessert which is best as a dip for the yucca fries (taste like churros), it's nice place for a date, lighting is mellow, w service was nice, some of the food was more inventive than others , leans more Chinese than Peruvian in my taste buds. For the two of us it was 170 after 20 percent tip with 1 cocktail & a beer. Best dish was the octopusView more
As Peruvian I can say the ceviche here was so authentic, I loved it! I loved that it was served in a bowl with a lot of juice, I also loved the empanadas au fromage. Recommended!View more
Food: Super delicious!! Portion: Too small, I think it is sth that you can eat besides your drink, not as a food, unless you order more than 2 or 3 dishes Price: a bit pricy Drinks: I got one with white egg, i didn't like it that much tbh Worth: yeah Service: GREAT! they are so friendly♡ Atmosphere: Perfect, me & my bf really loved the vibe☆ Music: Great (Peruvian) our food order: Tartare de Saumon, sandwich Recommend: ✅️View more
I mean, Wow, we chose this place for my husband's birthday dinner & was honestly blown away by the food. It was so good, I would highly suggest trying this restaurant. This was our first time trying peruvian cuisine, so we were not entirely sure how the flavors would be, but it was beyond any expectations we had. A must try would be the crispy shrimp, fried chicken, & lemonade mocktail. Also the bun sandwich & yuca fries.View more
This gem serves the best & most creative small plates & cocktails with distinctive Peruvian flavors! The ceviche & Pisco sour are musts. Fun guaranteed!View more
First time at this Peruvian restaurant... nice atmosphere. The servers are extremely good natured & welcoming. I ordered 7 dishes for two people & they all were delicious. This was a pleasant surprise.View more
Amazing spot - with delicious Peruvian fusion tapas. Literally the entire menu is perfect in terms of layers of flavours & the combinations between the different ingredients & spices. WOW !View more
I love this place, I visit it quite often. It was my birthday yesterday & I decided to enjoy the day with their delicious food. These flavours are the closest to real Peruvian food in Montreal. I recommend the ceviche, krabe causa, canard anticucho, calamar épicé & papa rellena. For dessert try the Lucuma ice cream if you have never tasted Lucuma before :D The staff was very nice & kind, especially François 💕View more
What a unique, delicious experience! Our service was first rate. The cocktails were magazine worthy, fresh & perfectly paired with the Peruvian tapas plates served!
Nothing short of amazing. This is easily the best Peruvian spot I've been to in Canada!View more
In my experience at the Tiradito bar, I found it disappointing due to its misleading concept. They present themselves as a "bar" but only offer the benefits of this concept for their own benefit. The dining area is cramped, offering small portions "tapas" at restaurant-level prices, yet the cocktails stand out as exceptional. Unlike the Bar concept, where you can stay as long as you continue ordering drinks & food. Tiradito operates with fixed time slots for customers. They lack flexibility in reservations, phone responsiveness, food ordering, & create pressure for patrons to leave, despite claiming to provide refined service. If your goal is to eat Peruvian food, I recommend avoiding this concept. However, if you're interested in trying some Peruvian-inspired tapas, you'll find some delicious options here.View more
The food & service was excellent
Peruvian Duck was recommended by server, it was scrumptious.
Must try!
This is more a tapas bar than a regular restaurant. Most of the seats are at the bar counter, with few communal tables.
The food is fantastic. Mix if Peruvian & Asian, amazing quality & great service. Prices are fair, considering the quality. Good wine, beer & drinks list.View more
The food is incredible. Me & my husband are Peruvian food fans & wherever we travel we try the local restaurants, to remind us of our dating years. The food was a variation of traditional Peruvian that was really well done, something unique that we hadn't tried in more than a decade of sampling Peruvian restaurants. Portions were small, but that's what we expected. That mango chicharrón salad, my dear goodness, it might have been the best chicharrón I have eaten in my whole life.
Unfortunately, the glorious experience of the food was tainted by the atmosphere. Even if we had reservations, we were led to the bar, where I was given a seat at an end & only one of my feet could reach the underneath metal rail, while the other was hanging. My leg hurt by the end of the meal & we had to rush our dinner. I saw a couple of tables still available on the terrace, but we were told only the bar was available. When we left, the tableS (yes, plural) were still available.
The music was incredibly LOUD, YES, VERY LOUD TO THE POINT OF HAVING DIFFICULTY HAVING A CONVERSATION & WE HAD TO SHOUT AT EACH OTHER, & it was very annoying reggaeton more apt for a dance floor than for drinks with friends while you eat & talk. The food had amazing presentation, or that's what we think, because the inside of the place was very dark & they had this very bright red neon sign making everything very red, so the work spent on the presentation of the food was wasted.
I am sad writing this review, because this is truly a great, innovative approach to Peruvian food. This food is extraordinary, is so well done, with so much craft & attention to detail. We truly loved it, & that's something that doesn't usually happen with us & variations of Peruvian food. Yet, the rest of the experience left a lot to be desired & shows a lack of respect for the food they make. The lighting choice was truly puzzling, honestly, what's the point of investing so much effort into the presentation of food that you can barely see? You can see in the pictures of other reviews how red everything looks here.
I hope that they fix these issues, because the food is truly remarkable. & maybe we are not the target audience of this place, true, but, hey, at least seat people in such a way their legs don't hurt & they have ti rush dinner.View more
