Food service was incredibly fast & it was a great spot for a date night, great atmosphere.
We tried a few different things off the menu, the fried chicken & ceviche were great.
Individual plates are quite small.
Indoor seating is entirely (or almost entirely) bar seating, so be prepared to sit side by side.View more
View more
We had SUCH an amazing time at this restaurant. The food, drinks, & service were incredible. We especially loved the papas rellena & the crispy shrimp. They even have chicha morada, which I adore. I can't wait to go back. I only took one star off atmosphere because the section of bar we were seated at had this weird end-wall section sticking out that made it a bit uncomfortable. I also only saw stools, so if you have something physically going on that requires a chair back, this might not be an accessible choice for dining.View more
We enjoyed our evening. We didn't know that we could only sit at the bar but it worked out okay. A bit tight, but not uncomfortable. Food was good but prepare to order several items. It's tapa style!View more
Absolutely blown away by Tiradito, Montreal's hottest spot for Peruvian eats & beats! As a Peruvian guy, I can confidently say this is the best Peruvian restaurant in the city.
First off, the vibe is electric: a sleek, tapas-style bar where everyone sits together, soaking up the energy of the open kitchen & the buzz of cocktail shakers in action. The staff bring that perfect mix of warmth & professionalism.
Now, the food. The tapas-style plates are perfect for sharing & exploring the menu's full range. You'll want to try everything: the ceviche is simply mind-blowing-fresh, zesty, & packed with flavor, easily the best in Montreal.
Drinks? The Pisco Sour is legendary, but don't sleep on the Maracuyá Sour if you're into passionfruit. The cocktail menu is as creative as the food, & every sip feels like a celebration.
Tiradito is more than a restaurant-it's an experience. Whether you're here for a few tapas & drinks or a full-on feast, you'll leave impressed, satisfied, & already planning your next visit.
For anyone looking for authentic Peruvian flavors with a modern twist, this is your spot. Trust me, as a local Peruvian, Tiradito is the real deal!View more
What a great find! This restaurant is a hidden gem. The atmosphere was fun & energetic. (There was Latin music - think Pitbull - playing all evening.) The staff were all friendly, & the food & drinks were fabulous. The restaurant serves tapas, so the three of us shared six dishes. We could have gone with five as we were stuffed. It was so fun to order a few dishes at a time, & the staff never made us feel rushed. Note that there are no tables. You sit around the bar/kitchen. I would definitely go back. Make reservations if you go because it was packed.View more
The service was good, the food was ok not an amazing experience but maybe it was what we ordered. The restaurant is also very noisy so it's hard to hold a conversation. The sitting is like a bar style, with bar stools set up around the servers & bar area. Place is not large.View more
Lovely bar for a date night out to enjoy some good vibes & great service!
I suggest mostly for dates as a large part of the bar is the main seating area so for groups larger than three it would be hard to communicate.
You can continue the night downstairs at the Pelicano!!View more
As mentioned here, I will definitely agree that Tiradito is not a restaurant, but also bar, as such just bar seating is available, but have to admit that the food served here is phenomenal, much better than the one you can get in Peru itself & probably the best we got throughout our Quebec & Ontario trip. Having been tapas size, we could try quite some like ceviche, duck magret slices, chicken dumplings, calamari & prawns - all phantastic. Pisco sour - our pick for cocktails was just gorgeous. I believe a trip to Montreal won't be complete without visit of this place.View more
Bar Tiradito was everything & more! We were visiting from Toronto for our mum's birthday. She absolutely enjoyed the casual sitting & the music was a hit! Our servers were so prompt on all our orders. The food was amazing!!! A must visit when in Montreal

Succès garantiView more
I was really excited to come here but I was disappointed. I normally love duck, but it was so fatty & chewy we couldn't eat it. Service wasn't great - we had to wait so long to order & they forgot one of our dishes. I also didn't love the bar seating, it felt cramped & uncomfortable. I couldn't recommend, sorry.View more
Peruvian restaurant, we were 2 & shared 4 dishes & were fullllll. The vibe is so cool too, neon sign & bar tables. The food is SO delicious & cooked to perfection. Best octopus I've had in my life & the ceviche was to die for. Food wise this restaurant deserves 10000/10 alone.View more
View more
View more
Amazing spot! Super lively & fun. First off the set up of this place is a huge bar in the middle & bar seating all around the bar & seating against the wall. There is no traditional seating it is all bar stools. This was maybe one of the very few downsides of the place, if you wanted to kind of relax & have a seat back you wont have that luxury. The drinks were super interesting & delicious. The negroni was different & you could really taste the coffee flavour in there. The maraycun sour (pisco sour with passion fruit) was really nice & tarty. The staff was helpful & really gave you a lay of the land regarding the menu. The suggestion was about 4-5 dishes for 2 people which was reasonable. The yucca fries are a MUST get. SUPER DUPER DELICIOUS. The vegetable dumplings, also very nice, maybe could have been filled a little better. The cheese empanadas were just okay, not great, not bad. On the meat side the octopus was really nicely made & had a great flavour & the chicarron dish was super tasty & filling. The one thing I would not suggest is the donut dessert. Honestly not great. They shouldn't have it on the menu. It tastes like nothing. We left it on the table after a few bites. The donut itself was tasteless & it was drenched in this very flowy sugar syrup. So its not like the syrup even permeated the donut. It was really terrible, but everything else was amazing.View more
This was my first time visiting this restau-bar with a friend. The food was tasty & the cocktails were also enjoyable. However, be aware that the portions are really small, more like appetizer/tapas size, which we weren't expecting. If you're just looking for a very light bite & mainly there for the cocktails, it might be a good spot. But if you're planning to have a proper peruvian meal, this may not be the best choice. Another downside is that there are no proper tables, just bar seating, which felt cramped & uncomfortable, especially being squeezed in between other people. I think this place could have more potential, if they offer larger portions, not just appetizer-style dishes, & have proper tables for people who are actually looking to dine in, not just sit at a bar. Despite the good food, I don't think I'll be coming back unfortunatelyView more
It's a nice place with good food & drinks, but keep in mind this is a BAR. Not a bistro, restaurant, or whatever you want to call it. Do not expect a proper sit down mealView more
Loved that there are no tables, just every patron are sitting at the bar. Great atmosphere & the personnel are great to watch & are very serviceable. Tapas style restaurant & all that we tried was fantastic. Even the cook saw that we only ordered one sandwich & offered to cut in two for us...great attention to a small detail. Will be going back for sure!View more
This was the first place we ate at when we landed in Montreal, & it was so much fun! We made a reso which I highly recommend. When you enter the inside vibe is super cool. It's dark with neon lights & really good music playing. We sat at the bar & literally got 1:1 attention from the server/bartender who was super nice! All of the food here was delicious. We shared a bunch of dishes & some of my faves were the yuca fries, fried chicken, chicharron mango salad, & the salmon tiradito. I also tried duck heart for the first time!! A lot of the dishes are listed as spicy but they were not spicy at all. The drinks here were also sooooo good. I loved the Pina Colada cocktail they have (can't remember the actual name). It tasted like a yummy fruity drink! My mom had the virgin version & really liked it too! I would definitely come back here again, everyone was so so nice & made our dinner super fun!View more
A fantastic little bar & eatery! We came as a party of 4 without a reservation & we were sat at the bar. Our waitress was fast despite juggling so many different customers & we received our food & drinks quickly after ordering. Our drinks were very creative & tasted fantastic, I really enjoyed the MTL colada. We ordered the ceviche, octopus anticucho, spicy calamari & chicharron with mango salad. Each dish we ordered was unique & delectable.View more
The food was wonderful. We had the salmon tiradito, which was a highlight, as well as the octopus rellena (the night's special), the crab causa & the yucca fries, & one of their desserts, the suspiro limeno. It was all super flavorful & fresh. The menu is very varied, with lots of options. I also really enjoyed the pisco spritz cocktail. We sat at the bar & enjoyed watching the food being prepared in front of us. Our server was friendly & attentive. The service felt well paced, & the portions were perfect. We will be back to try more dishes & cocktails in the future!View more
Incredible atmosphere. The restaurant instantly feels like a cool, upbeat bar. The staff is super friendly & are plating & working right in front of you. Our party of four split a total of 10 tapas & some drinks & left with our favorite meal from the trip.View more
Excellent service at the bar. The coffee Negroni & Macchu Picchu were delicious. The espresso martini was good but typical despite the Dulce de leche. The crab causa kinda tasted like a sushi roll. The Papa rellena was a big meat croquette which tasted South Asian. Fried chicken was good. Pork & mango salad was amazing. Fun vibe, music, & decor.View more
The food & service were fantastic. It is all bar seating which is good for two persons but not a group. We were 4 & they sat us on a corner so it was ok.View more
Incroyable! Thanks again Vick😌View more
J'y retourne ...View more
I really enjoyed this restaurant & the ambiance. The entire restaurant is essentially one large bar top, but very classy & formal. The drinks were great, the service was great, the staff were very attentive. The food was also good, but there was something about the flavors sod a few dishes that I f.jjst thought could be a little better. This is still a great dining experience & I suggest visiting if you get the chance.View more
