Hands down, straight-up delicious Bubble Tea over at Tiger Sugar in Montreal. Staff is friendly, makes you feel right at home. Everything's clean & neat, shines like new. Milk tea drinks taste diluted. It only taste like milk & sugar. It has dropped in quality. Lot of times no bubbles at around 9pm.Voir plus

EDIT : my recent experience is absolutely the worst service! We went into the store, & the only girl there didn't even acknowledge us. She kept texting, & even when we said hello loudly she continued texting. We left after standing there watching her on her phone for 5 minutes. This is not the first time we had bad service by this girl, she always has bad attitude but this is by far the worse. This is one of the rare places in Montreal that offer mochi as a topping. The store is very nice & clean. It would be nice if they have more sittings. The drinks are delicious & high quality (I saw they used organic Natrel milk!). The tapioca has the best texture & strong brown sugar flavor. I highly recommend the matcha with mochi & boba, & the taro pudding milk tea. However, for the more classic milk tea drinks like black milk tea or green milk tea, the tea flavor is not strong enough for me. Many of the drinks come with cream mousse but after shaking them the mousse is gone. The price is high compared to other places, around 10$ per drink for the large size. Overall, Tiger Sugar is still one of the best boba places in Montreal.Voir plus

Tons of choices, & very tasty bubble tea! Not too much seating inside, so it's better to stop in & grab a bubble tea while on a walk. The price is a bit steep but the tea is delicious & the tapioca is always fresh. Their mini tapioca balls (pearls?) are delightful!Voir plus
Great service, the worker was super welcoming & the store was so clean. However, my brown sugar cheese foam drink was overly salty, to the point where it was no longer enjoyable. In both of the drinks that I ordered, the tapioca pearls were very hard to chew. I'm not sure if they were having an off day, but I hope that was the case.Voir plus

The place itself has a modern decor & bright lighting; it adds to the lively ambience.
There are only a couple of seats so you might not get to sit. The place is quite small so the vibe is more take-out than dine-in.
I tried the brown sugar boba & their pearls are super fresh-tasting. Perfect level of chewy!
Things I liked a bit less was that I found their brown sugar boba to be quite sweeter than other chains I bought from (I tried several).
Also, there was no label on my drink & it was hard to know if I got the right drink (cups are not transparent) in the crowd. There was actually a mixup in orders on the day I went but the staff was super nice & fast to fix it. Perhaps using labels would decrease the risk of that kind of mixup because clients would also be able to better monitor what they are receiving.Voir plus
