My friend & I both got platters of about 2 kinds of meats, rice, naan, a veggie dish & a lentil dish + samosas, & it was incredibly delicious!View more
So, we've now sampled the entire menu over a few weeks.
& the verdict is out: it is very meh. But thankfully they aren't the only brown spot in the area anymore.
The naan is somehow burnt & raw. Like thawed uncooked chapati.
Rice is nothing to write home about, but edible.
The veggies & legumes are all just fine.
The desserts…. a-ok.
The beef tastes like bark.
The lamb is ordinary.
The chicken is very good.
But the butter chicken? I suspect their sauce's secret is Kraft Dinner powder.
It used to be very good (many years ago). Not sure what happened! We would order often in the past & were never dissatisfied, what a shame.
Only thing worth something is the samosas! For 1.75$, they are actually very good & filling. Ideal for broke students!
I'm giving an extra star for the very clever comment replies that the management leaves! Pure snotty gold! But seriously, don't go there. We have so many alternatives now.View more
A flavour of India!! Loved their food. You'll get roti, nan, samosa, chicken curry, lamb curry, paneer, fuchka, snacks, what not!! Quality & quantity both are good. Good for a takeaway/ dine in, they are super quick in food delivery.View more
Thali is my go-to for Indian street food. I always get the non-vegetarian thali with butter chicken, palak paneer, & lamb curry-but the vegetarian options are just as good! I also love their garlic naan & samosas, & the staff is always super friendly.View more
I've been going to this restaurant since it opened, & it continues to be great. Delicious food for a very reasonable price. I particularly like the palak paneer & the chana samosa. The place itself is serviceable & not fancy, but the food is good enough I often bring friends visiting from out of town here.View more
Had a great experience. Everything was very fresh & delicious. Must try Indian restaurant in town. Specially there samosas are best in whole Montreal. Will visit again for sure & will recommend everybody near & dear.View more
These are the best , most filling, absolutely delicious samosas I've ever had & will ever have. When I crave them nothing can stop me from getting them. It has become my tradition & my religion to enjoy this delightful food every two weeks. For anyone giving this restaurant less than 5 stars. I don't really comprehend your thought process.View more
Delicious mango lassi, spicy vegetarian samosa, chicken wrap & dessert!View more
I love this place plain & simple. Had to leave a review. The food is excellent, the staff is very kind & friendly not to mention fast with your order. & the prices are extremely reasonable in this economy. I just tried their butter chicken for the 1st time & it was out of this world. If you're reading this, definitely try it for yourself. Also recommend the Samosas in general. So yummy!View more
A nice Indian restaurant near Guy station where you can grab a quick bite. They have a small menu & some of them are my favorite dishes like chhole bhature, samosa chat, samosa, & fried rice. They also offer Thali, but I'm not a big fan of it. Desserts are okay. The service is quick, & the seating area is small but does the job.View more

Still as good as I remember it. Best samosas in townView more
Possibly the best samosas I've enjoyed in Montreal. Good value for money, food was informally good & fresh. Definitely not the prettiest place, so do takeout if it's date night, but great for a quick bite.View more
