The lady that took my order was very rude, very disrespectful & very aggressive. She addressed me in very racist manner. This took place at the Thai Express in Montreal Atwater mall. If you are black person & she takes your order, you will not be treated nicely. As a matter of a fact, avoid going & eating there. I paid for my food & I regret it entirely!! The cashier caught people's attention with her stinking attitude & it should have been recorded. I am not accepting this!!

Got the pad sew ew, beef with extra broccoli. Was not good at all, I have it everytime I go to Thai express & this one didn't taste good at all, as shown by the photo very dry with no flavor, beef was also very chewy with inedible bits, avoid if in the mall

Thai Express is a franchise & I always expect the same quality no matter where I go in Canada. That sadly is NOT the case. This was driven home to me when I was fortunate enough to be in my old neighbourhood in Montreal today- at the Alexis Neon Plaza- in the food court (which can be quite enjoyable, most especially if you take your food out under the vast sun roof, where there is plenty of light & space & right now fun festive holiday lights) The food at the Alexis Neon's Thai Express puts all others in the dust. Fresh, not over sauced with a variety of veges, not just green peppers & onions. They take the time to inquire about dietary concerns(I'm a gluten sensitive) in addition to the friendly relaxed service. It feels "homey" in a food court. Imagine that. It hasn't changed in quality since we left that neighbourhood in 2018. & I mean it when I say, I go to that Franchise every where I work out of town & in Montreal expecting the same quality. I am however, always disappointed. Today did not disappoint. Yummy! Great to be back. Lovely To see friendly faces & eat tasty healthy food at a reasonable price. Toujours Merci

I can't speak for every item on the menu, because I always get the chicken pad thai. I think for a mall restaurant they do a pretty good job. The portions are generous & tasty. There could be room for improvement! For the most part tho, I actually enjoy eating here alot, & I specifically come here when I'm craving thai express!
