The food was fine, but dodgy business practice, the price of meal does match the screen, additional charge for drink that is not mentioned & implied, unable to explain where the surchage came from.

I saw the girl at the cash taking my dirty money & with the same gloves taking the noodles with her dirty gloves & putting them in a bowl , I told her, & I told the people working there & they didnt care , it's just discussing .

Got the pad sew ew, beef with extra broccoli. Was not good at all, I have it everytime I go to Thai express & this one didn't taste good at all, as shown by the photo very dry with no flavor, beef was also very chewy with inedible bits, avoid if in the mall

Quality of the food has seriously gone down since the reopening. My Pad See Ew was very bland, no spice top it, pretty sure they forgot the sauce entirely.

Thai Express is a franchise & I always expect the same quality no matter where I go in Canada. That sadly is NOT the case. This was driven home to me when I was fortunate enough to be in my old neighbourhood in Montreal today- at the Alexis Neon Plaza- in the food court (which can be quite enjoyable, most especially if you take your food out under the vast sun roof, where there is plenty of light & space & right now fun festive holiday lights) The food at the Alexis Neon's Thai Express puts all others in the dust. Fresh, not over sauced with a variety of veges, not just green peppers & onions. They take the time to inquire about dietary concerns(I'm a gluten sensitive) in addition to the friendly relaxed service. It feels "homey" in a food court. Imagine that. It hasn't changed in quality since we left that neighbourhood in 2018. & I mean it when I say, I go to that Franchise every where I work out of town & in Montreal expecting the same quality. I am however, always disappointed. Today did not disappoint. Yummy! Great to be back. Lovely To see friendly faces & eat tasty healthy food at a reasonable price. Toujours Merci
