One of the best Indian food I've ever had in Montreal.! Highly recommended for Indian authentic vegetarian taste lovers.!
Great food & friendly service. Really interesting Gujurati dishes that are unlike what you typically find in Montreal - particularly liked the cashew curry (kaju lasan) & the undhiyu (tangy veg curry). Fully vegetarian. Will be back!
The best pure vegetarian restaurant in Montreal. The best street food & gujarati food. Bunch of options for No onion no garlic food. Must visit place if you are looking for gujarati food & street food. Incredible authentic Gujarati food! You won't find a better Ahmedabad vadapav anywhere in the city. It was truly melt in your mouth & amazing to taste. The chat papri & pav bhaji was amazing as well. Best part: my mom loved the food, so you know it's a must try!
This is truly the best Gujarati food I've ever had in Canada. The taste of everything is homemade & authentic. I also liked that the food wasn't spicy, since other restaurants try to cover up the flavour with excess spice; this is a must try restaurant for any Gujarati. Vegetarian options: Everything is vegetarian. Dietary restrictions: Everything can be made with no onion or garlic if needed. Most things are also Vegan
Food was Just Excellent & so the service. Totally recommend place who is Looking for Vegetarian Food...
An authentic Gujarati restaurant that serves Hindu vegetarian mainly street food. The vada pao & snacks such as sev Khamani are simply delicious here & worth going back for. The set thali meals however sadly have disappeared & been replaced by spicy Indian style sandwiches with fries. Whilst the food is tasty it is not somewhere you would go for a healthy meal. Potatoes & carbs are a staple in most dishes & the few vegetarian curries on the menu unfortunately swim unnecessarily in oil. The owner is wonderful as are the staff. The ambience is non descript with large posters of icons of Modi's new "hindu"india such as the half a billion dollar statue of a nationalist. This restaurant has so much potential to be something truly exceptional but will have to up its game drastically. Small details need to be ironed out as do essentials like restroom cleanliness:-(....
Being a vegetarian, I will definitely recommend to have food once. It's worth it! I tried dabeli & that was yummy.
Had lunch with family, the food is yummy, things tasted distinct, interesting vegetarian selection. It's a tiny place & the decorations were cheap but authentic. It made me Google Gujarat. My only issue was that the service was a bit lacklustre; the server was kind but distracted & could've been a bit more welcoming & they didn't refill water pitcher.
