Extrêmement choquée. Commandé le Terre & Mer qui a déjà eu une augmentation & je n'ai rien contre ça mais qu'on me charge un extra de 5$ pour avoir juste demandé 1 choix, des légumes sans vouloir avoir le 2 choix qui est sous les frites ou la pomme de terre au four qui fait partie de l'assiette. Ni le serveur a mentionné qu'il y aurait un extra… j'avais pas plus de légumes que les autres assiettes qui avaient un choix de plus. J'y venais quand même souvent étant donné que c'est dans ma ville. Mais, là, vous venez de me perdre.
C'était excellent comme a chaque fois sauf wue cette du fois-ci jai voulu essayer autre chose que la côte de boeuf au jus jai pris le duo côte levé c'était exellent mais pas autant que la cote de boeuf au jus mes c'était tres bon merci encore pour le service 👍🏼
Première fois à ce resto. Le service a été très très bien, on venait souvent nous demander si nous avions besoin de quelque chose, si tout allait bien du début à la fin. Notre serveur Mathieu toujours souriant. Notre repas était très bon ma bavette très tendre & cuite à mon goût, nos amis ont aussi apprécié. Mon mari a pris un filet mignon & queue de homard, il a aimé sauf qu'il trouvait son steak bon mais pas assez tendre à son goût. Dans l'ensemble nous recommandons son resto.

This will be my fourth visit with my wife to Texas Star, that being said if we have returned, it must be good & it is! I have left my first review below. This last visit was defenatly more pleasant.
Out for dinner with my wife. A very pleasant experience.
For starters, drinks from the bar followed by the TEXAS STAR PLATE, (Prime Rib), various appetizers served on a large platter. To my delight, the chef did a marvellous job cooking my meat to perfection, exactly the way I like.
I must not forget the service. Unfortunately the young girl who greeted my wife & I at the door was not very pleasant. I gave my name because I had a reservation. Not once did she speak, only a blank stare. The waiter who served us was friendly, pleasant, courteous & polite. A very enjoyable dinning pleasure except for the reception. Great job!
Le service d'Annie est toujours très sympathique. La cuisine excellente. Le seul bémol, service avant d'avoir notre repas est très très long, donc pas le temps de prendre un dessert malgré que nous sommes arrivés à 18:00 & départ pour le spectacle à côté à 19:45.
Ambiance formidable, le service impeccable, la bouffe très bonne. La seule chose que j'ai remarquée, c'est que le cuisinier ne portait pas de filet. C'est quelque chose à corriger, sinon, dans l'ensemble du restaurant, tout était très bien. Merci encore pour votre dévouement professionnel
Pour une première expérience c'était très bien. Un personnel courtois & la nourriture très bonne & généreuse & les lieux étaient propres. Le boeuf cuit a point & mon repas de Noël était excellent.
Qualité prix le Texas Star est un bon choix de restaurant.
We were a party of 3. Server was great however the food wad completely awful. 2 of us had the well advertised Turkey Christmas supper which was awful. The Turkey is likely packaged frozen turkey. It was hard as a rock & could basically be thrown like a frisky. I took a piece & banged it against the plate to show the server & she did not seem surprised. Another person took chicken fajitas that did not arrive sizzling. Half the chicken wasn't grilled & all the chicken was tasteless. They served it practically cold on a bed of un grilled onions with maybe 2 peppers. The meal cost 250.00$ with a bottle of wine which was almost 3 times the price of the SAQ. Was looking forward to a traditional Christmas dinner which almost seemed like prison or hospital food for the most part. Extremely disappointing. Will never return to this awful restaurant again. They should not even serve this so called traditional Christmas meal as it is a complete insult & disgust!!! Never again. I never wrote reviews but I just couldn't help myself on this one. If this one review saves many people from going there in the hopes of a great Christmas meal, then I will have saved people from a costly disappointment!!!! Do not even try & attempt this meal.....so very awful.
