We ordered the Filet Mignon / Scampi special & it was excellent. Bar & food prices were very reasonable. Service was very good. Atmosphere & decor excellent for a Tex Mex restaurant. On the down side, the restaurant is not easy to find, a bit noisy & an English Menu is NOT available. All in all, we enjoyed the experience & will return.

Nous avons été agréablement surpris.
Le filet mignon était excellent. Nous étions 4 & aucun commentaire négatif. Le vin à prix abordable. Les critiques disaient que la musique était trop forte mais nous sommes allés le mercredi & il n'y avait pas de chanteur, donc on a pu se parler sans crier. Nous y retournerons c'est certain.

Seul bémol: sauce au poivre pour y être aller très souvent la recette a changer & est moins velouté en texture & goût 3/5

Accueil très froid, la dame nous a "revirer" de bord car il était 16:50 mais rien n'indiquait que le resto n'était pas encore ouvert....
Service A1, ambiance excellente, nourriture vraiment bonne sauf nos steaks qui n'étaient pas super tendre (fillet mignon & contre filet Texas), dessert succulent!
Merci à Sébastien qui à été un serveur attentif, rapide & de bon conseil!
P.S. Sébastien, ont a adorer le show de Messmer comme tu nous avait dit que tu avais adorer toi aussi!!! :)

Resto très achalandé avec une belle ambiance. L'accueil & le service y sont toutefois un peu froids

Nous avons profité d'un spécial du mardi & mercredi sur l'assiette terre & mer. (Filet mignon 5 Oz & langoustines). Bien que le prix soit avantageux & que la viande soit fort tendre & goûteuse, j'ai trouvé les assiettes peu copieuses & surtout les langoustines miniatures & sèches...

J'ai aussi souligné l'anniversaire d'un membre de notre groupe dans la réservation & au serveur sans qu'il ne soit jamais souligné de quelque façon par l'établissement.

Alors, 3.5 pour la bouffe, 4 pour l'ambiance & 3 pour le personnel. J'y retournerai pour un deuxième essai.

Another great meal at Texas Star. We had chicken & ribs, & the filet mignon with a cream of vegetable soup. Everything was amazing!! Great staff. Great food. Great quality. Great price. Can't go wrong here.

We all had the filet mignon special & the only way to describe it was delicious. The restaurant was busy & the service was also very pleasant.
Wish that they would offer their prime rib roast daily instead of just Thursday - Sunday.
