It's one of my favourite terraces in Montreal. The decor is nice, view is beautiful & overall ambiance is fun. Food was tasty & good proportions. Service was also polite & friendly. He offered us blankets when it got a bit breezy (bonus points for that!). Overall, a good experience.

Had a group reservation organized by Emilie (hotel staff) who took care of our menu for a great dinner on the Terrasse. Great view & great food! Amazing service despite it being a very busy night!
I arrived for my reservation at 1:15 PM & was seated at a great table with a beautiful view - perfect for enjoying the weather. We waited for the last guest to arrive at 1:40 PM & placed our drink order immediately. Unfortunately, the drinks didn't arrive until 2:30 PM. For a table of three, a nearly one-hour wait for drinks was disappointing.
On a positive note, the food arrived quicker than the drinks & was delicious. I highly recommend the lamb or the burger-both were flavorful & satisfying. The chicken bowl we ordered as a starter was also excellent. However, the sweet potato fries were not fresh, which was a letdown.
Overall, I'd rate the experience 3.5 out of 5. If you're visiting on a sunny day, I suggest requesting a shaded table or one with a working umbrella, as the heat can become quite uncomfortable. The vibe was elevated by great house music, which gave off a Tulum-like atmosphere.
this year long terrace is one you can't find elsewhere in montreal! sitting inside the marriott, it has great views of the city. with cool boho-chic decor during the summer & cozy apres-ski vibes in the winter, it's definitely a picturesque insta-worthy place to visit for dinner or drinks! I believe they have the best truffle parmesan fries across all terraces in Montreal! Disco ball drink (blue with flower) is the prettiest drink they serve. Service can be spotty during peak times in the summer & it can get pretty empty in the winter (but they have plenty of firepits & heaters!). Expect terrace prices, after all youre paying for not only the drinks/food but the experience too!
Love this place! Beautiful spot for drinks/food for brunch. The food was good & good size (not too little neither too much) Drinks were great as well. The view was amazing 🤩

We loved this terrasse in plein downtown Montreal. Beautiful view up Peel to the downtown core. it was a little rainy on/off but honestly didn't bother us. They had heaters & blankets which was great. Our waiter Graziano & everyone else was wonderful. The cocktails were beautiful & tasty - & strong! good bottle & wine choices. Enjoyed the chicken bowl & truffle fries to share as snacks. Amazing!!
Hello, I went to terrasse Belvu 2 times now. Each time was different (service wise). I admit, the view & the food are good. The first time, the service was great. The waiter was friendly. However the second time, not as much. We were seated at the communal area even though we booked a table. We were seated for about 15 min without even water which we had to ask for. & we felt as if we were rushed to leave as the waiter asked to give us the bill while we were still eating. & then when we did ask for the bill, it took about 15 min to get. Any way, like I said, the food was good & the service I guess it depends on your luck that day.

Terrasse Belvu offers a delightful ambiance with a stunning view that truly enhances the dining experience. The music selection is great, though it can be a bit loud at the tables near the DJ, making conversation a bit challenging. I highly recommend making a reservation beforehand, especially on beautiful days, as it gets quite busy. The prices are reasonable, & the service provided by the friendly servers is excellent. We ordered the seafood platter to share & a couple of cocktails. The platter was delicious but not quite filling, so I'd suggest ordering an additional dish if you're looking for a more substantial meal. Overall, Terrasse Belvu is a fantastic spot for a pleasant meal with great scenery, but plan ahead & maybe sit a bit further from the DJ for a more comfortable conversation.
