Amazing atmosphere here & fun drinks. Had a bit of a hard time finding how to get to it. Go inside the hotel & not up the stairs outside. Other than that amazing experience & highly recommended during winter months. It was not busy when we visited on a Thursday night
Coworkers & I came here for drinks a couple of times during the week. Very limited beer selection & the music is super loud. Food is very expensive ($30 for a hot dog). The staff are friendly enough. The decor is undermined by how hard the restaurant is simping for Heineken.
Expérience très décevante aujourd'hui. Nous sommes arrivés pour prendre un verre & manger. Étant donné que nous étions entre 3 & 4 la cuisine était fermée, mais aucun problème, nous pouvions attendre à 4pm pour commander. Par contre, notre serveuse vers 3:45pm a complètement abandonné son service envers nous (qui était déjà très moyen), j'imagine qu'elle avait hâte de partir… nous avons commandé des drinks, finalement 20 minutes plus tard, rien du tout la serveuse était simplement parti sans nous avertir. J'ai informé la nouvelle serveuse poliment de la situation, mais elle n'a rien fait, aucune excuse, aucune prise en charge. 30 minutes plus tard, nous avons enfin reçu nos verres, mais quand je paye 25$ & plus pour un drink & 100$ pour du caviar, je m'attends à un meilleur service. Mon conjoint n'a pas non plus aimé son repas, nous avons informé la serveuse & elle a absolument rien fait. Bref, service extrêmement décevant, & nous allons aller ailleurs pour notre prochaine expérience caviar. Écoutez les reviews :

Antoine is hands down the best at Terrasse Belvu. Super welcoming & always in a great mood. & his gin cocktails? Absolute perfection. If you're looking for great vibes & top-tier drinks, he's your guy.

Food was mediocre. I got a Cesar salad with chicken, it wasn't bad but wasn't good, truffle fries were very mid as well. My friend got a boeuf tartare & it tasted weird, had no flavour at all.
Service was bad, it took the waitress 10 minutes to arrive at the table & my friend didn't barely touch her tartare & the waitress saw & didn't ask anything, same for her drink. She wanted a bellini they said they couldn't do it & finally she received a mimosa with passion fruit, again, not what she ordered.
I just found service very inattentive. Also we waited to get seated (even tho we had a reservation) & the hostesses almost sat another group before us, even tho we were there waiting, since they said they were just checking if the table was ready.
Anyways, I wouldn't recommend! Expensive, not worth the hype!
The atmosphere was awesome. Graziano is a wonderful server, he provided great recommendations on drinks & food. We enjoyed the evening so much we are coming back after our time at the Jazz festival. This is a spot not to be missed.
I arrived for my reservation at 1:15 PM & was seated at a great table with a beautiful view - perfect for enjoying the weather. We waited for the last guest to arrive at 1:40 PM & placed our drink order immediately. Unfortunately, the drinks didn't arrive until 2:30 PM. For a table of three, a nearly one-hour wait for drinks was disappointing.
On a positive note, the food arrived quicker than the drinks & was delicious. I highly recommend the lamb or the burger-both were flavorful & satisfying. The chicken bowl we ordered as a starter was also excellent. However, the sweet potato fries were not fresh, which was a letdown.
Overall, I'd rate the experience 3.5 out of 5. If you're visiting on a sunny day, I suggest requesting a shaded table or one with a working umbrella, as the heat can become quite uncomfortable. The vibe was elevated by great house music, which gave off a Tulum-like atmosphere.

La nourriture étais correcte mais il manque beaucoup au service. Nous avons attendu plus de 45 min avant qu'on nous demande ce que nous voulions manger & 30 min pour les drink. On étais juste un groupe de 5 filles & la terrasse n'est pas occupé aujourd'hui ( dimanche ). De plus, la serveuse ne vien jamais nous demander si on veux autre chose & clairement nous voudrions autre chose. Je n'imagine pas le service quand c'est occuper. Par contre, les serveuse sont gentille & polie mais tout simplement absente.
The i le redeeming quality about this place is the fact that it's a terrasse located downtown. The food was subpar (cold, tasteless), the drinks watered down, & the service took forever (more than an hour to get our drinks). Not worth it at all.
A great place. Graziano our waiter was very good & helpful. The food was okay but nothing too special , the wagyu beef was dry for some reason.
Sadly at the end they had to do that Montreal thing where they had to come kick us out , while we are still getting more drinks, because we stayed more than 3 hours on a Friday !!!!
They don't realize that this is SERVICE& HOSPITALITY INDUSTRY!! This is basically telling a customer'we've taken ur money, now get out! Time to do this to some other schmuck'
Don't they know In 18 months, they'll spend thousands on marketing begging u to come back , this is why inexperienced managers & directors shouldn't run restaurants
this year long terrace is one you can't find elsewhere in montreal! sitting inside the marriott, it has great views of the city. with cool boho-chic decor during the summer & cozy apres-ski vibes in the winter, it's definitely a picturesque insta-worthy place to visit for dinner or drinks! I believe they have the best truffle parmesan fries across all terraces in Montreal! Disco ball drink (blue with flower) is the prettiest drink they serve. Service can be spotty during peak times in the summer & it can get pretty empty in the winter (but they have plenty of firepits & heaters!). Expect terrace prices, after all youre paying for not only the drinks/food but the experience too!
Love this place! Beautiful spot for drinks/food for brunch. The food was good & good size (not too little neither too much) Drinks were great as well. The view was amazing 🤩
Great spot for drinks & bites! Jeremy was our waiter & took great care of us. He was quick & friendly. The music was really good too. I recommend the truffle fries. They were delicious!
I would recommend it to always make reservations ahead. Overall, great music & drinks are great. The food was delicious & it had flavor. It gets packed easily after 5:00 PM. If there's no more room you can be at the bar or just wait 10-15 minutes. Vanessa at the bar made good drinks I recommend her when you see her. Thank you for everything.
