Petit bémol : le choix de cocktails est assez limité & les prix sont généralement 1 à 2 $ plus élevés que dans d'autres terrasses de Montréal. Cela reste toutefois une adresse agréable pour l'ambiance & le cadre !
I really liked the atmosphere at Terrasse Belvu...it had a nice vibe & was a great place or drinks. However, unfortunately, the food & overall experience did not feel worth the amount of money i spent.The cup my drink came in wasn't clean, which was disappointing. My salad was soggy & not enjoyable, & the fries were not warm. They also tasted more like frozen fries than fresh restaurant fries. The staff were doing their job, but overall, I expected much more for the price. I honestly left feeling like I didn't get the value for my money. I hope the restaurant takes this feedback seriously & considers making it up to customers when they have an experience like this.
I would potentially come back for the atmosphere & drinks, but after this experience, I wouldn't return for the food unless things improve.
2/5 - Belle esthétique, mais expérience très décevante
Honnêtement, je n'ai vraiment pas aimé mon expérience à Terrasse Belvu. L'endroit est très beau & clairement pensé pour l'esthétique, mais pour ce qui est de la nourriture & du service, c'était une grosse déception.
Notre serveur initial n'était vraiment pas à l'écoute. J'ai dû l'interpeller à deux reprises simplement pour qu'il vienne prendre notre commande. Par la suite, j'ai même dû appeler d'autres serveurs autour de nous pour réussir à être servie, parce que sinon, c'était pratiquement impossible d'avoir de l'attention. Le service était vraiment décevant.
J'avais commandé le saumon, & il était beaucoup trop cuit. Il était tout petit, méga carbonisé par endroits & ne ressemblait absolument pas à la photo présentée sur le menu. & surtout, l'assiette était REMPLIE d'huile. Vraiment, remplie, remplie, remplie d'huile. C'était écoeurant & ça gâchait complètement le plat.
Mon copain avait commandé un lamb chop, qui était lui aussi beaucoup trop cuit, sec & complètement sans saveur. Pour le prix, on s'attendait vraiment à beaucoup mieux.
& pour terminer l'expérience, j'ai quand même essayé de laisser un pourboire malgré mon insatisfaction, mais on m'a fait comprendre que le montant que je donnais était trop petit. Je trouve ça très déplacé. Au Québec, le pourboire n'est pas une obligation. Chacun donne selon son appréciation du service & selon ses moyens. Ce n'est pas parce que certaines personnes donnent 15 % ou plus que c'est automatiquement obligatoire - encore moins quand le service & la nourriture ne sont pas à la hauteur.
En résumé : très beau pour l'esthétique & les photos, mais pour la nourriture & le service, complètement décevant. Pour moi, c'est une perte d'argent. Je n'y retournerai plus.
The view is amazing. The bar looks great. The music is fantastic. However, the service is one of the worst I've ever experienced in Montreal. Reason being there was no hostess. We needed to wait five minutes, & there was a pack of people waiting. The server named Juan was very passive took forever did no quality check & ended up waiting for the bill for over 30 minutes when we were already late. I would not suggest this place. There are many other beautiful terraces in Montreal.
Phil the bartender was the best! We just arrived to Montreal & he welcomed us in & made a great experience for us! Great rooftop bar to check out if you are in the area!
Une super belle soirée, Sephora & plusieurs autres sont des serveuses en Or. La propriétaire & attachante, souriante & très gentille. Nous étions 15 filles & nous avons eu un service plus que parfait! Je recommande!! Déjà hâte d'y retourne
