Enjoyed my seat at the bar 4 nights in a row. Food, service, & cocktails all were consistently good. Classy atmosphere. Marguerite, the Bar Manager, & Khaled, her coworker, were expert, intelligent, & sociable. (forgive me if I've misspelled your name Khaled.).
Will Definitely return when I come back to Montreal.

Excellente expérience ! Nous avons passé un très bon moment. La nourriture était exceptionnelle & surtout, ce moment était marqué par un excellent service, notamment celui de Ricky & Valentin! Je recommande vivement cet endroit!

We were staying in the Auberge du Vieux-Port hotel, & had dinner at Gaspar one evening. It was a lovely experience from start to finish. Even though the restaurant is quite large, it had an intimate feel. The best part was the personal connections we made with the staff. Emma, who we had met earlier in the week at the hotel, brought such a personal & warm touch to our entire experience - & when we saw her at Gaspar, it was the same. Our server was Dominic, & he is the definition of a true professional. With their guidance, we ate delicious food (highly recommend the French Onion soup!), drank nice wine, & chatted all night. Highly recommend!

We had a party of 15, total confusion (among us) & the staff handled it all with professionalism, smiles & grace. Class act. Nicolas, Chris & Ricky & one other staff whose name we didn't get. The woman who greeted us at the door was also exceptional. Whoever is doing the hiring & training here is the GOAT! Ha Food was delicious, fast & beautifully plated. Ambiance is very'where it's at'. Highly recommend!!!

Service was great. The restaurant itself is very pretty & was lovely on New Year's Eve. The only complaint was the price of the food & the quality. For $155 pp for a fixed price menu, I think the food could have been better. Also my husband & I both ordered the tenderloin but ended up getting served a sirloin made with lamb. It tasted like a grandmother's pot roast. We really didn't like it but didn't know why, until we looked back at the menu & realized we were not served what we ordered. It is on us that we ate it & didn't say anything (not realizing the mix up until after dinner). In any event, the food didn't overwhelm us, but it was a nice spot to celebrate New Year's anyway.
