I recently visited Tin tan, & I have to say, it truly brought back the flavors I've been missing from Mexico. It's been a while since I've had such an authentic & satisfying meal. The tacos were absolutely delicious, hitting the spot just like I remembered. A big shoutout to Erika, who provided exceptional service. She was attentive, friendly, & made sure everything was perfect. Her customer service really enhanced the entire experience, making me feel welcome & well taken care of. If you're looking for genuine Mexican food with outstanding service, Tintan is the place to go. I left feeling completely satisfied, & I'll definitely be back for more.
After a very poor experience earlier in the night at a neighbouring restaurant, this was a reminder that good service & cooking exists. A huge shout out the lovely & affable staff working Wednesday night.
We ordered guacamole, tacos de birria, gobernador, de pastor, horchata, a beer, & a margarita. The prices are high compared to other Mexican restaurants, offering less value for the cost. The birria tacos are recommended, & the gobernador tacos are good but very small, more like appetizers. The guacamole is overpriced & not well prepared.
Was visiting the city & stopped here. My boyfriend & I thought it was better Mexican food than we've ever had in Boston! I got the mushroom & pineapple tacos. I added some of their hot sauce & it was SO delicious! Ou tres delicioux (maybe? Ma Francais est Malle!) Mais Les tacos- c'est tries Bien! lol
The best birria tacos you'll get in Montreal. We had also the brisket tacos which were also good but it doesn't even come close to the birria tacos. The texture, meat, the broth were simply amazing. Servers are very attentive & always on the lookout that you are wel taken care of. Nice terrasse & cute decor inside.
Portion of guacamole & chips was small Ceviche was dry & uninspired but decent portion Shrimp tacos were decent Birria tacos were the stars of the show
Food took over an hour to come. Had to ask for napkins because they gave us 2 for a 5 people. The fish tacos were basic.. says breaded , but they were battered & deep fried, which is exactly what I didn't want. Says it comes with coleslaw on taco, there was none. Over priced for all the tacos.
Our #1 spot for tacos in Montreal. We've been visiting for over six years & love coming back. The fish & chicken tacos are a must-try & the staff kindly accommodates our German Shepherd on the patio which is why we make this a must-stop spot every time we're in town. We 💛 Tacos Tin Tan.

Went there tonight with a buddy, food & service were impeccable. I highly recommend the taco with the pineapple & the fish taco. also, test the hot sauce before pouring, the orange one packs a punch. It gets a little hot inside but terrasse is available. Try this place out, you'll like it.
Birria & ribeye tacos were really good. Inside restaurant was a little bit on the hot side so we ate outside. Service was very good. Prices around $30 per person. Place abs restrooms were clean.
