sushi(54) all you can eat(25) fresh(18) quality(13) ice cream(10) sashimi(10) price(10) variety(9) recommend(8)We've been there before & food was good. But went there once at 9:30, & it says they close at 10:30. We went in & refused to serve us because'the kitchen closed'. Also you can feel that the place wasn't cold enough to serve raw fish, there was definitely a problem with the AC.Voir plus
THE QUALITYYYYYYYYY!!!! This place is AMAZING. I've been a regular for a few years & they offer the best quality every single time. By far the best all you can eat sushi restaurant I've been to. The fish is always fresh, the service is quick, the menu has a large variety, the avocados are always ripe, the fish to rice ratio is perfect, etc. Didn't realise how good I had it here until I tried another all you can eat.Voir plus
We've been going to this restaurant for years. Always a great spot for friends & family to get good quality Asian food. The service is friendly & quick most days. The wasabi is a bit weak though. I would also recommend they give complimentary tea with their meals.Voir plus
Food was great & service was initially great, until we needed to pay. We had to ask for the bill twice & it took over 30 minutes to finally get it even though it didn't seem that busy in the restaurant.Voir plus
Very good for takeout sushi, it was devoured within minutes once we got home with it, would consider trying dine-in & their AYCEVoir plus
Edit (2025-07-01) : Food is still delicious, but service has really gone down. The last few times we went, servers were dismissive & simply not nice. It's disappointing because it really affects the ambiance & made us very uncomfortable.

My favorite restaurant! It's probably the only AYCE who still serve salmon sashimi at lunch time. Food is delicious. Service is very quick & efficient. & the most important point that really makes the whole difference, is that the staff is very nice!Voir plus
Favorite sushi spot in Montreal by far. I've been to many places but the red bean ice cream here keeps me coming back!Voir plus
Best all you can eat in Montreal, hands down!Voir plus

While a bit pricey, the sushi & overall menu are among the very best! As sushi lovers, my family was very impressed with the food quality. Service fast & excellent!Voir plus
Our server, Nick, was polite, helpful, & courteous. He anticipated what we needed & kept us happy all evening. Definitely a must tryVoir plus
This was the third time I went because of how good it is!Voir plus
La qualité de la nourriture est moindre qu'à ma dernière visite il y a quelques mois. Le poulet Général Tao & les rondelles de calmar étaient'chewy'. Je suppose que le calmar a été acheté congelé & non frais.Voir plus
Sushi Taketa is the place to go whenever I'm craving Sushi. Everything we tried from their Menu was delicious & on point!Voir plus
I was here 3 times in 1 week because I enjoyed it so much! Need I say more? LOL They have a great selection of foods, lived the miso soup, wonton soup, general Tao chicken, pork dumplings, pan fried dumplings, hosomaki... & they have delicous Japanese drinks to enjoy as well. Oh, & their desserts are delightful! Including a warm sesame ball with red beam paste inside, a warm custard ball, & 5 varieties of ice cream including my 2 favorites, Green Tea, & Red Bean. Such a treat!Voir plus

The food was amazing & the waiters were so friendlyVoir plus
I've visited this restaurant many times, especially on weekends, & the difference in service between Saturdays & Sundays is surprising. The young hostess with glasses who works Saturdays repeatedly tells me booths are reserved-even when I have a reservation-but then the booths stay empty the whole shift... She often refuses to seat two people at booths, & makes people switch tables halfway through an order, once forcing us (2 people) to sit at half a makeshift cramped table next to a very noisy & loud group. This happened when the restaurant was only half full. In contrast, the Sunday hostess is far more accommodating, always giving us comfortable seating (either a booth or a quiet table) & clearly explaining how to order instead of being like the other waitress who slaps the QR receipt on the table & walks away. I recommend visiting on Sundays for a better experience. The food is decent though.Voir plus
I have gone there 6 times in less than 2 months & spent over $250 ea visit. The sushi is amazing, variety is great, & each bite is an adventure. The experience is overshadowed, every time, by the terrible attitude of the young girl at reception girl with glasses. She is unable to adequately assess & assign proper seating to ANYONE. She ALWAYS tries to squeeze uncomfortably many people into the small 4 people booths. When asked to be placed in a proper setting, she gives attitude & mocks the table & clients with her colleagues, to the point of discomfort throughout the meal. Only to be imposed a 15% tip, despite her disrespecting people prior to the beginning of the meal & the entire meal. She & her colleagues make clients feel uneasy & wondering,'did they spit in my food'. On my 6 visits, she had to reseat as many as 4 tables for the same reasons each time. I, myself, complained 6 times for the same, to no avail. My last visit, I not only accepted the 15% tip, I paid more, 22%, to give myself the right to speak my mind to an undeserving waitress that was sent as bait to deliver the bill. Let's see if that antisocial behavior keeps happening or will she learn some well needed social skills before she gets a taste of her own medicine on the next visit & asked to pay the clients for improper service. It's employees like this that kill a good business !
