New place in Verdun with a nice & welcoming atmosphere. Not much seating, this place operates mostly for takeout.

The first time I ordered a delivery it was great. The second time I was very disappointed as all the sushi, in my assorted plater, seemed to be made mainly of chopped cucumbers. There were two microscopic shrimps in two of them & there was a very little of any taste to any of the sushi I ordered. For the price, I was very disappointed.View more

Ordered from Sushi Bae for the first time via UberEats. We had the 30 mcx sushi combo for 2 ppl + 2 sides (in this case, we got miso soup) was $35.95 before tax & delivery + service fees. It was affordable & filling for two people, however we noticed that there was a lot of rice in the rolls. There were also lots of cucumber rolls & we were hoping for at least 1 avocado hosomaki. You could also tell there was less fish included & extra pieces of greens (lettuce)? added that you wouldn't typically find in rolls. It was yummy & we'd order again, knowing that it's an affordable spot yet not the best in town. Thank you!View more
Meh! Nothing exceptionnel. Standard sushi. Sashimi slices are thin. Since this place has no seating, all products are put in to-go boxes. One of the pleasures of splurigng for sushi is its presentation. Meh! Good matching of sauces with the different items. Special fee sushi depending on how much you spend. Sushi rewards comes automatically when your order exhausted the required limits. The salmon katsu was a novel twist on plain salmon sashimi. Tasty. The red tuna sashimi was tough. Yes, you read correctly. Not tender. The sushi roll wrapped in cucumber came somewhat undone in the to-go box. Sushi Bae is a popular neighborhood place. Three busy sushi chefs & the order taker warns of a 30- minute wait to get your order. I was there during rush time. Service was curt. The guy did his best to be polite but was clearly stressed by all the orders. I've been to many sushi restaurants. Busy ones. When zen doesn't work, the head chef injects some positive energy to support the team & get it in a better head space. I have ordered many times & was always impressed with the food but this time, it was not the same quality. In the delivery to us, & it may not be the restaurants fault, the containers arrived upside down so fish had come off of the rice so I had to reconstruct the pieces. The maki rolls were not rolled well, so picking them up with chopsticks didn't work out so well. Flavours are pretty good so it's unfortunate. I'm disappointed cuz this was my go to Sushi spot but I don't think I will order again.View more

C'est mon endroit pour des sushis rapides. À trois coins de rue de chez moi, je vais les chercher & je reviens manger à la maison. J'adore! Les employés sont accueillants, le service est rapide & j'aime leurs sushis. Bon, je prends toujours un 20 morceaux choix du chef (auquel ils rajoutent toujours 6 morceaux alors... qualité prix? Excellent!) & je devrais peut-être varier un peu parce qu'y a plein d'autres choses qui semblent délicieuses au menu mais... peut-être un jour. En attendant, super content. Pretty tasty sushi, especially for the price. Rice always very fresh, never dried up & gross. However, they do a combination of in-house delivery & using third party delivery services, & this tends to lead to delays & confusions, such as missing sides or drinks. They offer a rebate on your next order if you report it, but if you don't order sushi often or if this was a one time visit in the area, you might not find that solution satisfactory.
For takeout, I couldn't recommend them more. For delivery though, bit of a gamble at times sadly.View more
