My rating may be influenced by nostalgia, but I grew up eating Sun K since my childhood in the 70s & my teens in the 80s. I've since moved away & found myself back in Chateauguay recently. I've lamented that I just can find Chinese food like I had in my youth, so I made it a point to stop at Sun K. It hasn't changed in the past 40 years & more -- the same owners & management & the same food I enjoyed all those years ago. In a rapidly changing world, Sun K's constancy is much appreciated. & the egg rolls are exceptional!

Restaurant buffet chinois à volonté à l'ancienne. La décoration est vieille & thématique mais la nourriture est vraiment bonne.

Un restaurant figer dans un passe disparue. un lieu qui merite un arret obligatoire. la nourriture est honnete & authentique. La decoration est magique & accompagne a merveille lexperience du buffet chinois qui nous ramene dans la nostalgie. Sans artifice pretentieux des temps modernes, je vous recommande ce restaurant ou vous pouvez manger de la vrais nourritures avec des vrais humains. Merci dexister encore & jespere que les gens realisent que ces lieux meritent quon les encouragent pour quils continuent a traverser les decennies.

It was my first time here. My friend took me out for lunch. However for Greek lent, I couldn't have alot of things (milk, eggs , meat) only protein we are allowed to eat at this time is shrimp & stuff like that since it has no spine & no blood. I think he was the owner but the waitress had brought him out & he took the time to go over every menu item in the buffet he had the back make me a special soup with water as broth with some seasoning & noodles that do not contain eggs or milk. Throughout her sitting he would come back & say by the way I just looked at all the ingredients of this this is safe, this item is not safe, this item is. He was super nice & super friendly even though I was a major inconvenience he was super respectful of my religious practices & really took the time to accommodate me. I really appreciated it !! Very very friendly!

J'adore le décor d'origine & le fait qu'on y sert que des mets chinois car quand il y'a trop de choix on finit par de plus savoir ce qu'on mange réellement 😅 j'y vais presque chaque semaine en milieu d'après-midi avec mon fils autiste de 6 ans. Il aime deux choses dans la vie: moi & les mets chinois alors on passe toujours un agréable moment. La nourriture est fraîche ( pas les restes de la veille) en tout cas si oui ça paraît pas & j'admire la propriétaire qui malgré son âge répond présent chaque jour ❤?

I rate this a five because the food is very delictable & has amazing taste. IT IS VERY SCRUMPTIOUS. AMAZING. The soup & eggrolls are great. i highly recomend. BABYBOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
