I had a great experience dining here! The food was absolutely delicious-fresh, flavorful, & beautifully presented. Every dish we tried exceeded our expectations, & you can really tell that care goes into the quality of the ingredients & preparation.
What truly made our visit stand out was the exceptional service from our waiter, Jonathan. He was attentive, friendly, & made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. Jonathan was knowledgeable about the menu, offered great recommendations, & checked in at just the right times without being intrusive.
Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience, & we'll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend both the food & the outstanding service!
There are under five (5) places in Montreal & surrounding areas that I can contest to having the utmost superior customer service & quality of food I have experienced. Sterling's has made the grade! Manager Joy, Servers JP & Sam, treated my Brother & me like we were the only customers in the place that mattered....at Lunchtime! The Staff were proud & happy to fix a small issue with results that were over & above necessary that made the both of us embarrassed for having pointed it out....even the owner came to our table to ensure we were happy. Wow! Gibbys should send some of their staff here for training! The escargot were light, not abused by the garlic, lightly blanketed with cheese that was not gummy nor be mistaken as Frisbee. The mashed potatoes were perfect & the prime rib roast beef is the best I have had in the Montreal area. (Sam, you were right!) This will be my new place to go as I definitely want to try other items on the menu!

Just brought my wonderful sister to lunch today & let me tell you i have never had such fantastic service as i did today..ordered a meal thinking it was one thing but was not & after waiter said..i will go get manager..i thought for sure a verbal altercation was about to take place..Instead..we were treated like royalty & given what we actually wanted..NO EXTRA CHARGE...with a smile & a sorry for the misunderstanding..The manager by the name of Joy..& our waiter J.P. made the event super special...even the owner & even Sam who takes care of the meat quality came to talk to us!! So very thankful for the excellent meal & service..Just make sure you go in evening to order a boeuf au jus that was one of the best i ever had..
Would not recommend based on the lack of good service alone. The food is okay, but quality & care could be better considering the price point. Unfortunately our particular waiter was not on top of his game when we were there; unset table (we had to ask for cutlery), no water, we had to eat our steak with butter knives, other waiters brought our dishes instead, meh overall. Beautiful decor & terrace, however, we would not return.
Excellent rib steak! Melt in your mouth top quality meat & delicious grilled octopus as a starter! Our anniversary dinner was memorable. Thank you for the outstanding service & dinner!
I had an incredible dining experience at Sterlings Steakhouse. The restaurant offers an amazing ambiance, making it a perfect spot for both date nights & food lovers. The menu is diverse, featuring a fantastic selection of dishes from both land & sea, ensuring there's something for everyone.
The service was top-notch, with professional & attentive staff. Our waiter, Robert, went above & beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, making our evening even more enjoyable.

We experienced delays in the service for the water & fries, which arrived much later than the steak they were supposed to accompany. Because of this, the owner did not charge us for the food, a gesture I greatly appreciated. Otherwise, the quality of the food was very good.
Restaurant looks nice, however this is the 3rd time I went to this restaurant & not impressed with the quality of the food. Food took very long to come. Service was slow but the staff was friendly. My filet mignon was very chewy... it was not cooked medium rare. A tad disappointing with the price you're paying. Won't be coming back. Also keep in mind there's no changing table for kids & no kids menu.
We recently celebrated my mom's birthday at this restaurant & it was an absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish! The ambiance was elegant yet cozy, making it the perfect spot for a special occasion. The staff went above & beyond to make our night memorable, providing impeccable service & making sure every detail was taken care of. The steaks were simply outstanding-cooked to perfection, juicy, & full of flavor. We tried the ribeye & filet mignon, both of which were melt-in-your-mouth delicious. The sides were equally impressive; the creamy mashed potatoes & the sautéed asparagus were the perfect complements to our meals. & the dessert was the cherry on top-their signature cheesecake was the best we've ever had! The attention to detail, from the quality of the food to the personalized service, truly made this a night to remember. Sterling steakhouse is a gem, & we can't wait to return for another amazing meal. Highly recommend it for any special occasion or just a great night out

Next time I feel lazy I'll think twice because 200$ later all I got was a lousy overcooked & sauceless dry burger, there was an attempt at grilling the entrees of grilled squids, two drinks & another average drenched hamburger steak. The fries were bland just like the ambiance but at least the meat quality was decent & portions were generous. Do yourselves a favor & think twice especially if what you crave isn't a steak before going there. Oh well.
I recently had the pleasure of dining in & it was truly an exquisite experience. The food was both delicious & high quality. The service was great, with attentive & friendly staff. Would definitely recommend.
