Overall good food.

Biggest thing for me is how expensive everything is. We ordered fried Kalamari. Filet Mignon with the Scampi (u6), Steak Diane, a bloody cesar, a strawberry Daiquiri & one chocolate soufflé. (230$)

Kalamari were really ordinary to be honest. The Brie was good but nothing special. Maybe try other appetizers. Clam chowder is super expensive but very good. 16$ for a soup basically.

The Steak Diane & the sauce it comes in was very good even though its one of their'cheaper' plates for the meats. Pasta had little taste but when mixed in the steak's sauce, it balanced well.

The Filet Mignon (rare) sliced like butter. Was very good also. Came with red pepper & asparagus. Veggies were'alright'. The fries came afterwards & were cold...

Bloody ceasar was ordinary. Tasted like they use a ton of Worcestershire sauce for some reason because it looked brown & not red lol.

Strawberry Daiquiri was good

dessert was chocolate soufflé with ice cream. Was good although the 2 ice scream scoops were quite small. We skipped the coffee because its 4 bucks each & the cups are pretty small.

Service was a little long & they made 2 person on 6 wait for their plates. Same with the desserts. Like 7-8 minutes kinda wait where we started asking ourselves if they forgot us. Rest was ok.

That being said... I am not gonna lie. This restaurant was'ok/good' overall but I cannot recommend it. I was simply mindblown by the quality/price ratio you get from that place. Like with our experience that day, it felt like we paid 231$ for 2 good pieces of meat which accounted for 30% of the stuff we got. The rest was completely ordinary, including the service & even the cleaneliness. (mirror with big smudges across it, broken soap pump in the bathroom)

The reason why i am that specific with this review is because of the restaurant's price point. Seriously, For the same price, you can go to literally to any other restaurant in the Centropolis & itll be 160-190$. Plus at some other restaurant around there, you can literally eat two meals off of each plate (more or less 2 lunch), have drinks, & dessert & coffee.

How a restaurant charges 230$ for 2 piece of meat, vegetables, drinks, one dessert without coffees is just beyond me. Its simply not worth it for what we got. We tried the place fully knowing its price point btw.

I had a great experience dining here! The food was absolutely delicious-fresh, flavorful, & beautifully presented. Every dish we tried exceeded our expectations, & you can really tell that care goes into the quality of the ingredients & preparation.

What truly made our visit stand out was the exceptional service from our waiter, Jonathan. He was attentive, friendly, & made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. Jonathan was knowledgeable about the menu, offered great recommendations, & checked in at just the right times without being intrusive.

Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience, & we'll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend both the food & the outstanding service!

There are under five (5) places in Montreal & surrounding areas that I can contest to having the utmost superior customer service & quality of food I have experienced. Sterling's has made the grade! Manager Joy, Servers JP & Sam, treated my Brother & me like we were the only customers in the place that mattered....at Lunchtime! The Staff were proud & happy to fix a small issue with results that were over & above necessary that made the both of us embarrassed for having pointed it out....even the owner came to our table to ensure we were happy. Wow! Gibbys should send some of their staff here for training! The escargot were light, not abused by the garlic, lightly blanketed with cheese that was not gummy nor be mistaken as Frisbee. The mashed potatoes were perfect & the prime rib roast beef is the best I have had in the Montreal area. (Sam, you were right!) This will be my new place to go as I definitely want to try other items on the menu!

Just brought my wonderful sister to lunch today & let me tell you i have never had such fantastic service as i did today..ordered a meal thinking it was one thing but was not & after waiter said..i will go get manager..i thought for sure a verbal altercation was about to take place..Instead..we were treated like royalty & given what we actually wanted..NO EXTRA CHARGE...with a smile & a sorry for the misunderstanding..The manager by the name of Joy..& our waiter J.P. made the event super special...even the owner & even Sam who takes care of the meat quality came to talk to us!! So very thankful for the excellent meal & service..Just make sure you go in evening to order a boeuf au jus that was one of the best i ever had..

Would not recommend based on the lack of good service alone. The food is okay, but quality & care could be better considering the price point. Unfortunately our particular waiter was not on top of his game when we were there; unset table (we had to ask for cutlery), no water, we had to eat our steak with butter knives, other waiters brought our dishes instead, meh overall. Beautiful decor & terrace, however, we would not return.

Excellent rib steak! Melt in your mouth top quality meat & delicious grilled octopus as a starter! Our anniversary dinner was memorable. Thank you for the outstanding service & dinner!

I had an incredible dining experience at Sterlings Steakhouse. The restaurant offers an amazing ambiance, making it a perfect spot for both date nights & food lovers. The menu is diverse, featuring a fantastic selection of dishes from both land & sea, ensuring there's something for everyone.

The service was top-notch, with professional & attentive staff. Our waiter, Robert, went above & beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, making our evening even more enjoyable.

If you're looking for high-quality food, excellent service, & a great atmosphere, I strongly recommend Sterlings Steakhouse!

We experienced delays in the service for the water & fries, which arrived much later than the steak they were supposed to accompany. Because of this, the owner did not charge us for the food, a gesture I greatly appreciated. Otherwise, the quality of the food was very good.
