Steak Frites St-Paul offre des viandes parfaitement cuites et des frites à volonté, avec des plats signature comme le Chateaubriand pour deux et des sauces savoureuses qui donnent du caractère au repas, et le service reste attentif et chaleureux tandis que l'option d'apporter son vin est un vrai atout. L'ambiance est à la fois cosy et conviviale et le rapport qualité-prix est souvent salué, avec des portions généreuses et des accompagnements savoureux. Certains détails restent mineurs, comme des chaises peu confortables ou des périodes d'attente plus longues les soirs très occupés, et quelques cuissons ou textures peuvent varier selon les tables, mais l'ensemble demeure très positif. En somme, c'est une adresse appréciée pour sa viande de qualité et ses sauces, son ambiance chaleureuse et la souplesse du BYOB qui pousse à revenir.
When us 3 indigenous ladies walked in, our host met us at the door. & quickly told us, that he didn't serve alcohol. We automatically thought that he was styrotyping us. We quickly told him ,that it was Okey because we didn't drink alcohol. He replied that if we did drink ,that customers are allowed to bring in their own. On a lighter note, the food was awesome! I have never tasted pork chops so good! Sooo soft. ,& he, also made a special gravy for the fries! I would definitely recommend this place! For food wise anyways!
Delicious food,great service,veru friendly staff. The octopus was to die for, the tartare, the calamari were really good too. The steaks were cook to perfection, reallly good

Delicious steak but lacks consistency. My wife & I ordered the same piece & same cooking but received two different steaks at different cooking stages. My wife's piece was way thicker than mine & was a tad undercooked. Otherwise a very good dish. Decent size. Bring your wine & no bread on the table while waiting, you have to ask & pay for it. Outstanding service, nice staff & very friendly. We had a very nice evening. Was first time there, will go again.
Fantastic place to eat. Warm & inviting atmosphere with perfect background music. Not always the way in a lot of restaurants these days. The service was orofessinal, friendly, & impeccable. My friend & i ordered soup & casaer salads, as well as steak & fries. The steak was cooked to perfection. Incredibly tender. We ended our dinner with a profiterole, which we shared. It was quite a bit larger than I expected, so sharing it was perfect as it was the sweet we desired after a perfect meal. Highly recommended.
During the dinner the service was fine, at the end we were rushed out , forced to pay right away & get out. The place was still busy & tables were still eating, the resto was half full so not sure why they had to kick us out. They started to push us out around 8:45pm, we were still drinking our wine , it was a office Holiday gathering & was not late. One of the girls even looked frustrated when we finally were practically forced to leave, she was wiping down the table as we got up. Did not feel welcome. .. I had the surf & turf dish, the filet minon was not the same size as the regular 6 oz the others got for the main dish. Green beans on every plate, pretty boring. Fries were the best part of the meal & the mushroom sauce.

In my opinion everything was good. lamb shank was so tender & so yummy 😋😋.Especial thx 🙏to 🌺CAMILLIA served us friendly but professionally. 💜 u can bring your wine 🍷 & if U need fries 🍟 they do with pleasure.
Great New York strip, cooked perfectly, sides were tasty as well. Service a little bit unhurried, although very friendly & informative. Don’t forget to bring your fave bottle of wine! Would definitely go again.
Excellent service, pretty solid food. My only complaints are minor (hence 4 stars & not 5): all the knives were surprisingly dull (in a steakhouse!), & my steak has a good bit of fat on it. For comparison's saké, though, my wife's was fine. I do have to commend the waitstaff on their courtesy as well as the other foods. The green beans, French fries & peppercorn sauce were all sublime.
Steak was great. Perfectly cooked & nicely seasoned. Great fries. Beans were pretty decent as well. Service reasonable. A bit loud & kind of hybrid between nice & cafe style.
If u like open & loud, casual ambiance with really good steak, would definitely recommend.

Had a pleasant lunch there. Had the walley & fries. Fries were great. Walley cooked well however a little bland. Good service but waiter refilling water at the end seemed a bit hurried. Water splashed on me & when I looked up, saw him looking in some direction behind me, then ran off, leaving a puddle of water around the glass.
Service was excellent. Fast, friendly & smart! Bringing your own wine is a bonus. Homemade Frites were amazing & they are unlimited.
I prefer this place to the Keg or Baton Rouge. It's not fancy but clean & focused on quality. One small note, always make sure the menus are as clean as the restaurant.
