La viande était sans aucun doute le point fort de l'expérience : cuisson maîtrisée, bon goût, sauces réussies & frites très bonnes. Les haricots verts étaient également corrects.
Malheureusement, plusieurs éléments ont terni le repas. L'attente entre les plats était particulièrement longue, ce qui a cassé le rythme du service. L'entrée nous a aussi laissés sur notre faim : pour le prix demandé, la portion semblait vraiment insuffisante.
Concernant le dessert, la crème brûlée était trop cuite, presque dure par endroits. La présentation n'était pas particulièrement soignée non plus, surtout au regard du standing que le restaurant cherche à afficher. L'ensemble donnait une impression de travail fait un peu trop rapidement.
L'autre point marquant a été l'ambiance générale. Je tiens à préciser qu'une personne à l'accueil était très agréable & correspondait parfaitement à ce qu'on attend habituellement d'un restaurant. En revanche, le reste de l'équipe semblait particulièrement éteint. Très peu de sourires, quasiment aucune interaction visible entre les employés & une atmosphère étonnamment froide. C'est la première fois que je me retrouve dans un restaurant où l'ambiance me paraît aussi triste. On avait l'impression que le personnel était simplement en pilote automatique, ce qui a eu un impact sur l'expérience globale.
Enfin, la décoration ne m'a pas particulièrement convaincu. Elle paraît vouloir être élégante & moderne, mais manque selon moi de personnalité & d'identité propre.
Au final, je retiens surtout une excellente viande, de bonnes sauces & de très bonnes frites. Malheureusement, entre les temps d'attente, l'entrée décevante, le dessert moyen & l'ambiance générale assez froide, l'expérience ne m'a pas semblé à la hauteur des prix pratiqués.

The service was good, but the food left something to be desired. It is a'bring your own alcohol' establishment so come prepared. The steak was an average cut seared in a pan. It was unseasoned & tough to cut. Giving 2 stars because the service was nice, but won't be going back for the food.
Incredible steak! I got the classic steak frites & it was cooked perfectly. I love the unlimited fries. The escargot was also amazing! I would skip the beef tartare next time.
Also, it's BYOB. We saw a table next to us who brought a 6 pack of beer & a bottle of wine. & they chill it for you, too. Wish we knew!
Perfect BYOB spot that won't break the bank. Service is good, beef & salmon tartare are delicious. Only little hiccup is that they changed the menu & there's no more of their mussels on there. It was a great option for non beef eaters!
Definitely would come again.
