Wonderful Eastern European food served in an old building with cozy charm. Bar is limited, but what is available is pretty good. Service was friendly & efficient. The piano player added a nice feel to the already intimate setting.View more

This is probably one of the best little gems in Montreal. Located in the old port of the city, it doesn't disappoint. Run by a nice family. Every-time I come here, I feel like I am eating a home cook meal. Feels like home, great atmosphere & always amazing food. The live piano player adds the cherry on top. My wife & I came here on Friday night with a last minute reso. They were great with calling me back after I left a message. All the food was excellent. I got the veal schnitzel & my wife got the taster plate with a couple of a bunch of things. We also shared the beet consumé & the pickled herring which was my favourite of the night! The live piano was a great touch & lots of fun. Really great night!View more

Fantastic food & service in a cozy little spot near the river. The food was delicious & light, you were full without feeling uncomfortably stuffed. Great selection. We had the al a'carte items for lunch. Two savory fried crepes filled with mushrooms in one & beef in the other, covered with a light & creamy mushroom sauce. Potato salad & a fresh greens salad included. Wonderful wine & drink list as well. Fantastic!View more

Amazing restaurant! Food is very delicious! Friendly staff! We ordered 2 beer, appetizer (potato pancakes) - just try it! Pierogies, sausages, & for dessert peach & apple pies. I would say, it was best dinner that I had in Montreal.View more

Lovely busy place. Food was reasonably priced & plentiful. The schabowy was absolutely perfect. Golabki had too much marjoram, but were very good. Great apple crumble. Service was great & the live piano was just lovely. Note to other clients that comment on how great the piano man was - give the man a tip! He deserves it!View more

Everything was absolutely delicious. My friend & I split the beef stroganoff & pork schnitzel... I ate every crumb on the plate. The atmosphere is unbeatable. I love the piano player. Couldn't recommend this place highly enough!View more

The best pierogies I've ever had! My father grew up in Warsaw & we've had lots of pierogies over the years, but these are the most delicious, tender, tasty flavourful pierogies I've ever had! I paid many compliments to the staff & was told that their grandmother was in the kitchen making the pierogies! Surprisingly my favourite pierogies were the ones with sautéed mushrooms inside, I tried three different kinds & they were all delicious. Highly recommended, I loved the crêpes as well.View more

What a great little find! The atmosphere was so cozy; live piano the entire time. The staff was friendly & efficient. But best of all, the food was fantastic! I really enjoyed their tasting platter as well as the beef stroganov. I also really loved their pierogi with beef!
