I had the Debutante plate & my wife had the Golabki. It was traditional, tasty & comforting, but I'd stop short of saying it was exceptional having grown up with Polish food & having recently visited Poland. That said, I still enjoyed the food & would definitely go back to try other items. The Pierogi were excellent. However the service was disappointing. The young servers seemed much more interested in socializing amongst themselves & were not very attentive to customers. Also, they were not too interested in socializing with the patrons. I don't at all mind relaxing & taking a while to eat, but the disinterested attitude toward patrons was not to my liking. Certainly opposite of my experience dining in Poland where they were extremely friendly.View more
The food was amazing! 😍 My partner had the cabbage rolls (stuffed with meat). It was really delicious. I had the table d'hôte with the zurek soup, & the debutante plate. While our Polish friends mentioned it's not things that necessarily go together, it allowed us to taste a lot of different things. Everything was great! We had both the crumble & crêpes for dessert. Again, nothing to complain about. Also, we shared the pickled herring for the table. Highly recommended as a chaser. Amazing service (only complaint is that it was a bit slow but it was Friday night & they seemed slammed). & the ambiance is really cool & chill.View more

Finding a polish restaurant is always a treat & this one did not disappoint. Had a wonderful lunch. Cabbage rolls were terrific.View more
Atmosphere, food & service were excellent. The place was busy & they made room for us. Best Polish food I've had & I've eaten a lot of meals in Poland.View more
The comfort of Polish cuisine makes diners feel warm. Polish cuisine has the salty taste of pickles, the sour taste of fresh apples, the bitter taste of black tea & herbs, & the spicy duck of horseradish mustard. My sister & I chose the following dishes: - Beef Strogonow (main course) ~ $27 - Golabki (main course) ~ $22 - Peach Crumble Cobbler (dessert) ~ $6 - Apple Crumble Cobbler (dessert) ~ $6 - Birra Fanelli Beer ~ $11 Meat has always had a special place on the Polish table for generations. A unique dish is Golabki, stewed cabbage stuffed with pork & rice, served with tomato sauce, potatoes & salad. This dish is a combination of sour, sweet, salty & umami flavors. A simple yet delicious dish. Strogonow is strips of beef fillet in a red wine sauce with mushrooms, served with two potato pancakes & a beetroot salad. This is a dish that everyone should definitely try. The beef is marinated in wine, making it surprisingly tender & delicious. Croustade is a dessert with a choice of apple or peach, covered with the restaurant's homemade sweet cream. It's no surprise that apple pie is one of the most beloved pastries in Poland, with its delicious apple flavor. Since I don't drink beer & I'm not feeling very well, my sister was the only one drinking tonight. Luckily, she got to try their 50th anniversary Birra Fanelli, a light wheat beer with a lemon flavor. My sister described it as having a pleasant golden color, a very aromatic & slightly sour drink, & a very good digestive. Price does not include 15% VAT & 25% tip. Total bill was over $100 for 2 people, a great price if not a steal & I cannot recommend this restaurant enough.View more
The food quality was good. I really enjoyed it & it's definitely a matter of personal taste & experience. While I appreciated the generous portions & the unique flavors of Polish cuisine, it wasn't quite what I'm used to, so I probably would not return. The cocktails, unfortunately, didn't hit the mark for me. Also, finding parking was a bit of a hassle since it's located in the Old Port area.View more
Awesome authentic Polish food. The atmosphere was very cozy & the staff superb.View more
As authentic as it gets when it comes to Polish Food.View more
We noticed this restaurant on our first day of visiting Old Town & planned to visit it for lunch. My family is very familiar with Polish cuisine & every dish we ordered "tasted like childhood". It's pretty busy place so I would recommend to make reservation. Live piano music enhanced resturant's atmosphere.View more
The food was cooked good. Could have a bit more flavor, but that's what I'd expect from our Polish friends. Service was good & atmosphere was niceView more
Cozy. Time stands still here. Live piano music & friendly staff. It's good to have a reservation for dinner as there is a continuous line at the door. Food is the most authentic Polish cuisine I've had besides at home. A must while in Montréal!View more
Great Polish food restaurant in Montreal at reasonable prices!View more
Lovely ambience, big portions, restaurant was full with people waiting, the live upbeat piano added a lot of charm. Authentic & delicious Polish food, can confirm.View more
Good, homely Polish food in a warm & inviting venue. My only slight dissatisfaction was that, because it is so popular, it was quite noisy. I'd suggest booking, even on a Monday night, as it was full to overflowing.View more
Everything about this place was superb 👌 great pianist with nice musical taste set a great tone for the restaurant. The ambient light & pub esthetic is very nice. & the food is great. Polish or not you'll love this place. Will be coming back.View more
Amazing all around. Great atmosphere & service, fantastic live music choices on the piano & Good portions for the price. & last but certainly not least Great food! I would recommend anyone to come & try this place out, polish or not.View more
An amazing experience. A must do for us every time we are visiting Montréal. The menu is great & all of the food is amazing. It's everything it should be for Polish cuisine. Highly recommended.View more
In general the food was quite flavorless: Zurek too watery without egg & not sour at all. Bigos too sweet & without smoked sausage taste. Pierogi overcooked & also tasteless. As a lover of real traditional Polish kitchen, we were both disappointed. The Brazilian waiter was the only highlight of the evening. The Polish waitress was not at all friendly & almost rude.View more
Delicious, authentic Polish food in a cozy environment. Looking forward to returning.View more

Amazing polish food. The pierogies & cabbage rolls are exactly like my polish/Ukranian grandparents made them.View more
Very cosy & authentic Polish food! The live music was also awesome!View more
My family is of Polish heritage, & I was excited to introduce my children to a wider variety of the cuisine than they've had at family gatherings. Our youngest children (7 & 9) are quite picky, & they finished dinner by saying it was their favorite meal of our Montreal trip; that's saying a lot because they have had pizza & grilled cheese. 😆 The staff wasn't fazed in the slightest when our large family of 6 came in without a reservation. We'd have made one had we known the smaller size of the restaurant. We were seated promptly. Food came out rather quickly, despite most tables being full of patrons. Every single item we ordered was remarkable! A pianist started playing during the latter portion of our meal, which was a lovely touch. A sign posted outside the restaurant says that music is played daily starting at 6:00PM. Go because you love Polish food. Go because you appreciate considerate & competent wait staff. Go because you like listening to live music while you dine. Go because your chicken-nugget-&-butter-noodle kids will totally dig the kielbasa. Whatever your reason, just go. Stash is worth it!View more
Legit polish food in the middle of Montreal. My wife's family is Polish. We've had lots of opportunities to enjoy polish cuisine. Stash Cafe's offerings held their own against the family recipes we were accustomed to. Really good, genuine Polish food.View more
Best polish food in Canada, also very handsome server Marcos. I would like to know if he's single.View more
What a wonderful place to eat authentic Polish food or enjoy a drink & listen to the piano player.View more
Such a cute & cozy place! If you want to try some great polish food, this is the place to check out. Even for it being a Wednesday, it was quite busy & you can tell the severs were working hard. Because of the busy atmosphere, our order was initially deleted which resulted in a slightly longer wait. Due to this, we ended up getting free dessert for the trouble which was so nice of them to do. The service was fantastic & our waitress was very kind even when handing all the food, bar & cleaning all at the same time. If you're ever in Montreal, visiting here is a must ( just make sure to make a reservation)View more
