I really like the concept behind Spirulina, & I've tried many different locations. Unfortunately, this one has disappointed me every single time. I've given it three chances, hoping the experience would improve, but it never did.

The biggest issue is the staff's attitude. They come across as indifferent & simply don't seem to care. If your order is made incorrectly, there is little concern about fixing it. On one visit, I even saw an employee standing behind another employee just chatting instead of helping, & they clearly weren't being trained while the wait line was getting long.

The service is also incredibly slow. Waiting 15 minutes for a smoothie is unreasonable, especially when the store isn't particularly busy.

What bothered me the most happened twice: my smoothie cup made my hands smell like onions because the employee prepared a salad first & didn't change their gloves before making my drink. That's completely unacceptable from a hygiene standpoint.

To make matters worse, this is also the least pleasant Spirulina location to sit & enjoy your order.

Upper management should really pay attention to the recurring reviews for this location. There are clearly ongoing issues that need to be addressed.

The Santorini salad is good. Though the butternut soup is a big no. I couldn't even finish it. Too much spices & very spicy. The service is a big zero, a big no. Very rude & nonchalant cashier. Wouldn't recommend going there for the service. Maybe go to another Spirulina for their salad.

Oh sorry sir, our new policy is that we do not mix the salad anymore. We give you all the ingredients & you can mix it & dress it.

First time trying Spirulina at Royalmount. I got'The Chick' chicken salad & avocado on sourdough & the'Strawberry Glaze' smoothie. Both were clean & simple ingredients but lots of flavour! Very very filling. Loved them. Pricey but this is what it is nowadays! Can't wait to try more from their menu.

Asked for chicken on the side & they put it in salad. Noisy atmosphere slow service
