SpiceBros is widely praised for bold Indian flavors, generous portions, and an inviting vibe, with many customers raving about butter chicken poutine, butter paneer, naan, mango lassi and the wide range of vegetarian options, and the welcome atmosphere and late hours are often highlighted as positives. The service is repeatedly described as friendly, attentive and helpful, with staff going the extra mile and making customers feel at home, contributing to strong value for the price. Some reviews point to inconsistency across locations, noting flavor gaps or bland notes in certain dishes, occasional quality issues like spoiled rice or cold potatoes, and a few experiences where the pace or atmosphere did not meet expectations. Overall SpiceBros comes across as a strong and popular Indian fast casual option in Montreal, celebrated for flavor, variety and standout service, while acknowledging that experiences can vary by branch.
This was the best butter chicken I ever ate I took the spicy version it wasn't as spicy as i thought it would but it was just right I also had a samosa & again not a spicy as I thought but just right
Le repas est correct & abordable. Mais, une des caissière n'est pas à la caisse pour accueillir ses clients & surtout, elle ne parle pas le français. C'est une honte de ne pas respecter la Charte de la langue française en plein Centre-ville de Montréal.
i got the butter chicken poutine with medium spice to it, & it was amazing! my second time ever trying poutine, & it did not disappoint. i forgot to get his name, but the gentleman that attended my friends & i last night was extremely kind & a joy to meet. thank you!
Came in late to montreal for a visit, food was delicious even though it was after 10 at night Service was incredible. The guy at the counter was so kind! I wasn't sure about the sauces & he had me try them to make sure I knew what I wanted! If I could give the service a 10 star, I would.
Ordered the Paneer bowl & instead of Paneer they gave us Tofu. I thought I accidentally ordered the wrong thing but tofu isn't even listed on the menu so it's a little strange. Also, for a place called Spice bros the food is rather bland. Samosa was good though. The owner responded to this review saying they don't use tofu. I'm born in India, I've been eating Paneer all my life. I'm raised in canada & spent a lot of time in Japan & know exactly what Tofu is like. What I received was definitely tofu. Trust me, this confused me too but that is the fact. Posting a photo of this'paneer'. If you know what paneer looks like you can clearly see this isn't paneer.

The food was fantastic, the service was amazing, the person behind the counter made sure that my dining experience was fantastic, I had no complaints, it was fantastic for the price too
I ordered butter chicken poutine & chilli chicken wrap. The potatoes were cold & the butter chicken was mushy & warm. The wrap was 60% sauce & 40% filling (meat & veg). Nice people, but based on the food, I would never order again.
