The place is basic & clean but the food is simply delicious & the staff very friendly. I love going to this place! It is always a pleasure to eat there & prices are reasonable.
man is so lovely he gave me & my friends free brownies just from the whimsy & kindness of his heart. chicken souvlaki also fire. he knows us after one visit! so sweet best time ever :))

Great spot to get yummy food!! The person at the counter which I assume is the owner is very sweet & helpful. If you're looking for a great spot to chill & eat with a couple friends this is the spot!
Today I tried Sparta Chicken in downtown Montréal, & it was an amazing experience. The chicken was perfectly grilled, juicy, tender, & bursting with flavour. You can really tell they use fresh ingredients & season everything with care. The staff were friendly & welcoming, & the service was quick without feeling rushed. The restaurant has a simple, casual atmosphere that lets the food shine. Overall, it was one of the best chicken meals I've had in Montréal, & I'll definitely be coming back soon
I had an amazing time at this restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious & I tried the grilled chicken & fries, & it was incredible.They've got a great variety on the menu,you'll find something you'll love.
The vibe of the place is so nice, cozy lighting, good décor, & french rap music in the background that makes it super relaxing & cool. Perfect for a date night or even just a chill dinner with friends.
The staff were also fantastic, friendly, helpful, & they really knew the menu. I felt well taken care of the whole time. Definitely recommend this spot, & I'll 100% be back!
Chicken wraps with some spicy house sauce. Wrapped tight. Fries like McDonald's. Not horrible. But very disappointed.'Sparta' Chicken. But nothing Hellenic about the place, staff or cuisine. It's misleading.
Being a native montrealer to also have surprise because I speak both official languages was weird & funny. My son enjoyed the wrap a bit more than I did.
No pork here, nothing Spartan about the restaurant.
Don't get me wrong, it's not bad. Just not what I expected. When I look up best souvlaki in Montreal, this shouldn't be an result.
The best restaurant in Montreal consistent from the first time I tried it (4 years ago), clean , fresh & very tasty chicken with very good portions . Very unique spices & well spiced chicken . The staff are the best ,very friendly. Especially ayoub takes the experience to a different place.
A customer since 2 years & was recommended for me from my friends & father since 2020 it taste really good chicken is well cooked. Really friendly & kind the service

The man who was serving us was really friendly & hard working we were five families, a big crowd & he was working alone & served all five families including mine really fast, & the meat wasn't raw from inside unlike some places, whose service is fast but their cooking was rushed & raw.
Amazing chicken! You have to come try this if you're visiting Montreal, fries are delicious & this spot is open late-night for your cravings. Great value as well for what you're paying, go check it out!

I recently visited Sparta Chicken, located at Guy street, Montréal, & it was a delightful experience! This casual Greek restaurant specializes in halal, charcoal-grilled chicken & crispy fries, & it absolutely delivers on flavor & value.
The star of the show is their grilled chicken-tender, juicy, & perfectly seasoned with a unique Mediterranean spice blend that has a slight tangy kick. I opted for the spicy half-chicken plate, served over a generous bed of well-seasoned fries, & it was fantastic. The chicken was cooked to perfection, with a smoky char that elevated every bite, & the fries were crispy & fresh, complementing the meal beautifully. The portion was huge, making it a great bang for your buck, especially for a quick dinner after exploring nearby attractions like the Oratory.
The atmosphere is vibrant & welcoming, with a youthful vibe that suits students & families alike. The staff, including a notably friendly server (shoutout to Mohammed!), were attentive & quick, ensuring our order was spot-on despite a busy evening. The only minor hiccup was the washroom, which could use a bit more attention to cleanliness.
For anyone craving authentic Greek-style chicken with a Montreal twist, Sparta Chicken is a must-visit. I'll definitely be back for their souvlaki pita & to try their hot sauce, which I've heard is a game-changer! Highly recommend for a tasty, affordable meal.

Used to go to the OG location on the corner of Atwater & st Catherine: going there for years: at least 13. Always good food quality, friendly staff. Even to this day the pricing is very very fair which is brilliant. You can order a trio for less than 20$!
