While more expensive, this sushi place is much better than the one right next to it. I would say it is fresher & higher quality. The nigiri sells by single piece which makes it a bit prohibitive.
My only other comment is that the sushi pizzas do not come with a description in the menu, which surely can be fixed. The PFK roll packs a crunch!

Sozo Sushi in Montreal is a real treasure the quality & freshness of the sushi are second to none. Their nigiri is simply outstanding, & the shrimp tempura I had was crisp & delicious. The variety of sushi is unique & refreshing, making every visit a new experience. The cozy atmosphere is perfect for a relaxed meal. The staff are incredibly friendly, welcoming, & professional. The sushi rolls, especially the special roll, were beautifully presented & tasted amazing. The creative & fun display added an extra touch to the dining experience. We took the 28 pieces sushi option for 2 people. It included Miso soup & Shrimp tempura. Food portion was generous. Sozo Sushi shines with its fresh ingredients, excellent service, & warm environment. Highly recommend a visit.

This restaurant just offer sushi roll, no sashimi! It is well known that for sushi to be delicious, in addition to the ingredients, rice is also very important. Every step from selecting rice to cooking vinegar rice cannot be sloppy. The vinegar rice made with smaller special sushi rice has better stickiness & a slight sweetness. But here did not do that! The price-performance ratio is not high. The meal price is basically paid for the white rice, & there are too few other ingredients.

EDIT 2023: Still my favourite sushi place in Montreal. Quality always excellent & service top-notch. Delicious & fast delivery!! Great service. Our rolls were excellent. They gave us a free Dragon Eye roll & edamame too-sooooo good & what a surprise!! My picture isn't the greatest but the platter was so cute. Thank you SoZo Sushi!! Definitely going here again.
