Food portions greatly reduced from the last time we were there. The gyro pita plate lacked the lettuce & consisted mainly of 4 slices of cucumber & 2 tomatoes; a handful of fries & a spoonful of rice (not very fresh) completed the large white plate that looked starkly empty compared to previous visits. The gyro pita was good, with just a little bit less meat than usual. Taste of gyro was spot on & thankfully that had not changed.
Really delicious family friendly restaurant have good food & taste fabulous if you're looking for a traditional Greek food in Laval this is the place to go!

Quelle agréable surprise!!! Le meilleur pita slouvlaki que j'ai mangé de ma vie... généreusement garni, avec abondance de sauce tsaziki... service sympathique... Que demander de plus!?
Les Pitas sont à se rouler par terre, & cuit au four à la perfection! En marge du boul Curé Labelle, cette adresse détonne! Wow!
Good. Gyro is very tasty & fresh. A bit too much salt for my liking. Greek salad is ok. Not a fan of red onions. Give me classic yellow (white) onions like most do in authentic Greek eateries. Service is friendly. Parking situation can be tempestuous during rush hour traffic.

Some of the best geek food In all of Laval, my most recent experience was one to highlight, they messed up almost my entire order & I didn't notice until I got home however, they did everything they could to make sure I had a positive experience, including sending me a replacement for my meal free of charge. Very professional, extremely polite, & perfect customer service.
Food is oustanding & very fresh. first time here & it has become my go to greek!
anything gyros or plate is good & must try the side of calmari..wow!

Niko is the best. I am sure that he serves everybody perfectly. But in my experience, what is different, unusual about him, is that he knows how to'read' the customer. What kind of a person the customer is, in what mood he is, & how to handle him, accordingly. Not taking advantage of him, no, not at all. Just, to serve him the way he will appreciate.
It is a skill.
I think that I also met, surreptitiously, with someone who seemed to be the owner of the place. If that is so, he was a very nice person.
As for the'little sister' of Niko (that's how he presented her to me, at the Cash), she is so good at such a crucial job, that she is destined to run this place at much higher administrative levels. Officially & in all regards, not just in special matters.
The food was fantastic. We savored numerous items on the menu, entrées & main dishes, & they were all very, very good. Fresh, authentic, well prepared & cooked. The real thing. (& I have been in restaurants in Athens & Crete… cf.my reviews about them, in this Google-reviews system…

This was Athens or Crete, in Montreal. As far as that is possible.
Then again, I have not been to Sparta yet...
The prices are quite decent, in these crazy time when it has become normal to order some pasta plate at 40$ !!
& you bring your own wine (minimum 100$ dollars saved, on your bill…)
The place is beautiful. Well situated, nicely designed, warm & cozy.
No parking problems. A nice terrace, if you prefer to have a drink &/or a drink &/or eat outside, under the porch (in late Spring, Summer or early Autumn... this is Canada !)
The best place in town to have a wonderful family gathering. (Or for any other occasion also, of course, I am sure. But my review is about the moments that I enjoyed in this excellent restaurant. & I always try to talk only about what I know, personally & directly, assuredly).
Niko will know who I am. & we shall meet again, for sure, shortly.
Got 2 plates with fries, 2 sticks of chicken souvlaki each, & a Greek salad for $71.( ps: takeout)
We will not be back. The salad was very ordinary, with onions cut extremely large & barley any seasoning. The chicken lacked flavor. We've had much better in both Laval & Montreal-for a lot less money!
