Au cours de sa tournée nord-américaine, la Superstar grecque Mihalis Hatzigiannis a découvert Melina Mammas, une jeune chanteuse grecque canadienne, fille de Lawrence Mammas, et a été invitée à dîner à La Belle & La Boeuf où il a été tellement impressionné par le groupe qu’il a proposé un partenariat pour apporter une cuisine authentique grecque Souvlaki, avec un concept Foodtastic à Montréal. Voilà que Souvlaki Bar est né, ouvrant notre premier magasin le 12 septembre 2014. Plus de 5000 personnes ont assisté à la grande fête d’ouverture où Mihalis et Melina ont joué à l’extérieur devant plusieurs fans heureux. Chez Souvlaki Bar : nous garantissons la fraîcheur et la qualité de nos ingrédients, d’où vient notre slogan : Je suis fresh.

À chaque fois que je vais manger au Souvlaki Bar je ne suis jamais déçu, tout est excellent, avec des épices grecques bien dosées & des saveurs authentiques. Les plats sont frais, bien présentés & les portions sont vraiment généreuses on en a pour notre argent!
Le service est rapide & l'accueil très chaleureux. La serveuse était sociable, elle a pris le temps de discuter avec nous même si le resto était assez occupé.
La décoration est très belle, l'endroit est propre & agréable. En plus, il y a un grand stationnement, ce qui est super pratique.View more

Food is amazing!!!! Always is at Souvlaki bar, but this is not their best store, the staffs were not too happy about serving us, which felt a bit off. The food & drink got here fast, although I wouldn't recommend getting a drink, rather a soda. 🥤View more

The Souvlaki Bar in ville saint-Laurent is THE BEST!!!! I can't even begin to explain how perfect the service was! We went for a surprise birthday party of 45 people & Jerry was so accommodating & sweet! He made sure the resto was organized, he was ready, he even asked what to say when we walk in to not spoil the suprise, he allowed us to decorate as well & he didn't impose anything! When I went to decorate he asked if I wanted to eat or have a coffee, soo so sweet! The staff also helped me! They're the BEST honestly!!! All future birthdays & suppers will be there! A perfect example of choosing to do less but doing everything you chose to do really well. The food here is classic Montreal Greek food. A tight classic Greek menu where everything on it is fresh & tasty. My favourite is the chicken Souvlaki Bar garden salad. The salad dressing is WOW & one of a kind. Love the Greek potatoes & the lamb chops. Service is as good as the food. These guys know how to run a restaurant.View more

Found the Souvlaki Bar while in Montreal for the Canadian F1 Grand Prix. The restaurant is very lively & can accommodate large parties. The host that greeted us was very friendly & welcoming. Our server was attentive & fast! The star of the menu is the baked chicken, really good! The meat shovel also looked good but we didn't order it. I chose the chicken souvlaki & found the chicken unfortunately dry. If you're in Montreal & are looking for a real Greek experience, go to Souvlaki Bar!View more

Mistake on order, mistake with the Bill, small portions, over-priced, taste so-so. Bye-Bye Souvlaki Bar, does not encourage me to go back. ZERO Star would be more like it.

Our first visit to a 'Souvlaki Bar' franchise, & extremely glad we chose the Ville Saint -Laurent location as a benchmark.
The place was packed & 'hopping' on a snowy Friday evening. Had a great window booth, watching the 'Christmas' view. (almost April as I write this review). The ambiance is bright & alive, lighting is a festive/modern/traditional fusion that works both aethetically & practically. The food is quite frankly another fusion of quality & taste. I ordered the 'Club Pita', this is'nt your daddy's 'club sandwich' (even if he WAS Greek)...lol. Every component is quality & taste. From the chicken to the perfectly prepared bacon strips & everything in between, a real instant 'Go to' plate. The service was Inviting, attentive & appreciative.... how could you not return?
