Au cours de sa tournée nord-américaine, la Superstar grecque Mihalis Hatzigiannis a découvert Melina Mammas, une jeune chanteuse grecque canadienne, fille de Lawrence Mammas, et a été invitée à dîner à La Belle & La Boeuf où il a été tellement impressionné par le groupe qu’il a proposé un partenariat pour apporter une cuisine authentique grecque Souvlaki, avec un concept Foodtastic à Montréal. Voilà que Souvlaki Bar est né, ouvrant notre premier magasin le 12 septembre 2014. Plus de 5000 personnes ont assisté à la grande fête d’ouverture où Mihalis et Melina ont joué à l’extérieur devant plusieurs fans heureux. Souvlaki Bar Saint-Laurent is hands down our favorite spot in the city! The food is always fresh, delicious, & full of authentic Greek flavor, with big portions that never disappoint. Every dish tastes like it's made with real care & top-quality ingredients.
The staff are amazing, always kind, professional, & welcoming, which makes every visit such a pleasure. The atmosphere is warm, lively, & perfect whether you're going out with friends or family.
A huge shoutout to Jerry, the best manager ever! He always goes above & beyond to make sure everyone is happy & taken care of. My friends & I go there every week after soccer, & it's truly become our go-to spot.

Very good customer service. A table in a quieter spot was needed & the manager accommodated without delay. Ariane was excellent. Friendly, informative & skilled as a waitress. The food was fresh & servings were generous. I look forward to returning the next time I am in VSL.
Bon resto, authentique nourriture grecque. Point négatifs, ils chargent tellement tout que j'ai eu peur qu'ils chargent extra pour napkins! Je me dis qu'avec 4 repas & un entré, la demande d'une petite sauce tzataki devrait être offerte.
Popped in for takeout. The hostess was excellent, she helped us make our choices. The place was busy but I could see all staff was working efficiently, including the owner. Food was on point, great Greek salad.
Came in the other day with colleagues of mine for a goodbye party & sadly my experience wasn't up to par. At the start we had a nice woman ask if we wanted anything to drink yet (only two of us had arrived at the time) my colleague took something but I didn't (I hadn't really looked at the options yet). She brought us both glasses of water .Maybe 30 minutes/ An hour later , everyone arrived & another male server came to ask one of my colleague if she wanted something to drink (mind you she's in front of me) , I also wanted to order a drink but the man quickly left without asking anyone else if they wanted something.
For the next 30 minutes I proceeded to wait to get a hold of him (he was busy serving other tables so I understand). He even went to serve other of my colleagues for drinks, but I felt completely ignored. So I ended up raising my hand to get his attention & then he came & I ordered a drink, which was delicious btw. But then as this is happening everyone is also waiting for him , or anyone, to come take our orders. After another 30 minutes passes still no one comes so I end up again raising my hand to get someone's attention to tell them we are ready to order food.
Now as a vegetarian, I was saddened to see there wasn't that many interesting options, but I decided to try the gyro plate with pita. Inside was cucumbers, onions, tomatoes & salad + garlic sauce. Sadly it was pretty lacking in taste :/ there are many options of vegetarian proteins existing & none of them were used. The rice was good & the fries too, but yeah the food overall was lackluster, at least for me.
I'd say it wasn't a bad experience, but it definitely wasn't good either. I don't know if maybe in this restaurant you're supposed to get the waiter's attention to get things moving & maybe we were just not used to this, but I would have appreciated a more present type of serving.
We had a great time! The food was delicious with huge portions, the prices were very reasonable, & the staff were incredibly friendly & welcoming. The whole place is such a vibe, & the blue sangria was top-notch. It truly felt like Greek hospitality at its finest - warm, generous, & fun!!
À chaque fois que je vais manger au Souvlaki Bar je ne suis jamais déçu, tout est excellent, avec des épices grecques bien dosées & des saveurs authentiques. Les plats sont frais, bien présentés & les portions sont vraiment généreuses on en a pour notre argent!
Le service est rapide & l'accueil très chaleureux. La serveuse était sociable, elle a pris le temps de discuter avec nous même si le resto était assez occupé.
La décoration est très belle, l'endroit est propre & agréable. En plus, il y a un grand stationnement, ce qui est super pratique.
Food is amazing!!!! Always is at Souvlaki bar, but this is not their best store, the staffs were not too happy about serving us, which felt a bit off. The food & drink got here fast, although I wouldn't recommend getting a drink, rather a soda. 🥤
