Souvlaki Bar specializes in authentic Greek cuisine focused on high-quality grilled meats and traditional Mediterranean flavors. The menu prominently features seasoned souvlaki skewers, shaved gyros, and tender bifteki, all prepared with signature marinades and fresh, aromatic herbs. Guests select from various platters accompanied by creamy tzatziki, fluffy pita bread, and crisp village salads made with vine-ripened tomatoes and feta cheese. The culinary approach emphasizes bold, charred flavor profiles achieved through open-flame grilling techniques consistent with classic Hellenic street food traditions. Practical side dishes like lemon potatoes and savory rice pilaf complement the protein-centric entrees served throughout the space. The vibrant atmosphere remains centered on efficient service and the consistent delivery of charcoal-grilled favorites that define the brand identity. Every component reflects a dedication to maintaining genuine Greek culinary standards within a modern and accessible environment.
Souvlaki Bar generally receives praise for its generous portion sizes and flavorful Greek dishes, with many patrons highlighting the quality of the souvlaki, grilled meats, and tzatziki. Guests often appreciate the vibrant atmosphere and the friendly, welcoming nature of specific staff members who contribute to a pleasant dining experience. While experiences can vary depending on the visit and the specific branch, many diners find the restaurant to be a reliable spot for an affordable and satisfying meal, often recommending it for its authentic taste and lively environment.
We were a group of 8 & went on a Monday night (late). They accepted our group. Had a few drinks. They were really good. Food was delicious. Service was good. Love the biftekia!!!!
Fresh Greek fare, delicious feta, gyros. Kings menu offering pita or rice- healthy options.
Unfortunately the lunch menu takes over an hour for salad & gyros. Wait staff didn't offer us neither the drink nor the dessert offered in the menu. Very disappointing.
The food was average, which is worse than when it first opened. The most horrible thing about today's dining there was the flies & the remarkable quantity of fruitflies inside the restaurant. From start to finish of our meal, my husband & I were on the lookout so that the flies don't sit on our food or fall down into our drinks. I am pretty sure this problem didn't appear overnight which means the owner doesn't really care about resolving it. Won't be eating there in any near future.

Great food but terrible service. The waitress brought us our meal & that's it. We had to signal to the waitress to come & see us for extra drinks the first time she did not see us while she was in front of of our table. We were planning on having dessert but after seeing the service we had we simply asked for the bill. On our way out, we noticed that there were a couple of waitresses just chatting near the bar. All this while the restaurant was almost empty.
Great Greek food at Centrpolis Laval. We've been coming since they first opened.
Their Greek potatoes & gyros & souvlakis are delicious.
They even have lunch specials which iare a great deal. We had the chicken pita trio, which came with a drink & salad, & the meat shovel meal for one. Mixed chicken & pork gyro meat is presented in a small shovel with Greek potatoes & pita, & a huge portion of salad.
Great ambience & very spacious, with a terrasse & an upper floor.
Tout était fabuleux, le service, la nourriture & l'ambiance, mais les drinks & la sangria étaient décevants. Avant le Souvlakibar offrait une sangria unique avec un goût à la cerise, mais maintenant tout est fade 😑
The food was good overall. We ordered the gyro bowl & the pork gyro plate. The gyro bowl had too many onions, & the portion sizes were a bit too large. Unfortunately, the drinks were terrible. We tried the jardin de gin & the Greek mojito. The Greek mojito was okay but had an overpowering licorice flavor. The jardin de gin was undrinkable, lacking the sourness needed to balance the sweetness, making it overly sweet & unpleasant. The service was even worse. We were seated & then forgotten. We had to flag down a waiter, & while the food arrived quickly, the drinks did not. With only about eight tables occupied, most either already had their drinks or weren't drinking, yet we had to get up & remind the staff about ours. Overall, while the food was decent, the drinks were disappointing, & the service needs improvement.
Food was cold, not good, had the runs all night. Drinks are very expensive & awful, alcohol was non existant. We heard the table next to us complaining about their drinks, alcohol was missing. They have a nice spot but bad management.
