The food experience was top notch! The octopus & oyster Rockefeller, Cajun oysters were the best I have ever had! Cajun had some real'heat' to it!
The service was A1 & the drinks are to die for! BEST dirty gin martini I ever had!!
Definitely a good dining experience & the music & vibes are pretty good too!

We went for Valentine's Day to Sotto for the first time & our experience was not good unfortunately. First of all, took 1:30hrs to receive our food, then the waitress come to me & tell me we don't have focaccia anymore so we will offer you garlic bread I said no problem. Then she came back & gave us the foccacia finally. Focaccia was good honestly I don't have anything bad to say about it. We ordered branzino with the risotto. It was good but the branzino was overcooked, practically all burned :/ but we still managed to eat some of it. My partner ordered pasta, pasta was hard not cooked at all. Then the waitress forgot our octopus & when I told her about it she gave my a dirty look & was super rude.. we finally had our octopus & it was good ( thank god). Then at the end we look at the bill & she charged us 4 rockerfeller & we never ordered any rockerfeller so we were upset to pay extra 40$ for nothing. Honestly the restaurant is not that bad it's just the service that sucks & the waitress all have attitude for nothing & needs more professionalism. The owner was screaming at some busboy but he should focus more on the kitchen side since our food & service was bad.
Smallest portion I've ever seen. Five tortellini. I was still hungry & had to grab food on the way home.
Wait was long, too, & the tortellini were weirdly crispy like they were air-fried. Between that & the portions, I don't see this place lasting long. What a shame.
Love the food, I've tried a couple dishes & even ones that I'm skeptical about still amaze me with wonderful flavours, if you love Italian food or food itself, I recommend sotto
Absolutely amazing experience at SOTTO. The vibe is unmatched, the service is top-notch, & the food… wow. Every bite was full of flavor, beautifully presented, & totally worth it. You can really feel the passion in the kitchen. This spot is a must-try in Montreal, it was highly recommended by mtljackk & it was worth it!!
