Delicious food & quick service, their quantity & quality reflect well on the price. I particularly loved the fact that the bulgogi bbq set had rice, salad & miso soup on the side, making it a very balanced meal!
The flight time from Montreal to Seoul Korea is about 17 hours & 25 minutes, so instead of flying to Korea my wife & I decided to take a leisurely 15 minute walk to the Sopoong Korean Restaurant located on Queen Mary Road. Just for your information Sopoong means PICNIC in Korean & we definitely had a great indoor picnic at our table. We ordered 2 Korean BBQ specialties from the menu which included a tasty Miso Soup, a healthy garden salad, sticky rice, & we shared a Chicken Teriyaki Plate as well as a Bulgogi (marinated beef) Plate, both piled high with vegetables & served on a hot metal platter. Our dinner was extremely delicious & the portions were very generous so that we had enough food to take home with us for another meal. Best of all we didn't have to board a jet for another 17 hours & 25 minute flight back to Montreal, & after a pleasant 15 minute walk we were home again.
The food here is so good that the biggest challenge is to choose what I want more... The bulgogi soup with those perfect noodles & that broth that warms the soul? The fried chicken with that insanely delicious onion mayo bridge to the next plane of existence? Who am I kidding, I just get both every time & just enjoy the leftovers the next day which are somehow just as good.

Absolutely loved this Korean restaurant! The food was bursting with authentic flavors-from the perfectly seasoned bulgogi to the rich, comforting kimchi stew. The banchan were fresh & plentiful, & everything tasted homemade & thoughtfully prepared. Portions were generous, prices were reasonable, & the staff was warm & attentive. The cozy atmosphere made the whole experience even better. Definitely a go-to spot for Korean food cravings-can't wait to come back!
Got fried chicken with sweet garlic soy, & bulgogi beef, both the chicken & beef were absolutely divine! Server was extremely friendly & helpful! Would absolutely return.
They have a good variety of food on the menu, the staff is friendly & service was fast. We ordered a bulgogi bbq skillet, some fried chicken & side dishes. Everything was super good… only tiny thing the fried chicken was a little soaked in oil (maybe they dropped the chicken in the oil too early before it got hot… if you know you know) but was still good to eat. The atmosphere is also very nice & restaurant very clean. Will be coming back!
I got their bulgogi bento... To die for! Great portions, caring service, great variety/combination in the bento box. Always looking to go to that area so I can eat there 🍱🤤
Damn. The food here was super tasty. Many varieties of Korean food & not just the standard bulgogi or bibimap. O had the tofu stew that came in a steaming bowl. The flavor & heat was so intense that it literally made me shout out how good it was. Flavor was like a punch in the face. I was too excited that i forgot to take a pic of the food. Nevertheless, will definitely return.
Pleasantly surprised by this Korean BBQ. Authentic Korean food... Serving everything from Bulgogi, to the famous Korean fried chicken. Went in just after lunch & had a feast. Prices were reasonable & portions were generous. The wait staff was attentive & everything was delicious!
