We held a friend's big birthday here & it was phenomenal! We chose to do buffet: Caribbean Fusion & guests are still raving about the food. We elegantly sat about 60 people, although they can host more, & we had a nice space near the bar for cocktails & we were served tasty hors d'oeuvres (mostly vegan, yum). They let us in early to set up decorations, band & photo booth & the staff was helpful & nice with us for that. At no moment did we feel stressed about timing for service etc, they were flexible yet proactive. I feel that we got the best value for the money here. They even provided a coat check & door security & a'bridal suite' which the band used for getting ready & resting between sets. There are so many more things that they provided, Luke a tv to view a photo reel. Thanks everyone at SNS Lounge8!
Food was very fresh, meats & shrimp were very seasoned. Service was lovely & the chef is warm & welcoming. The terrace by the water is an added feature.
This is by far the best Caribbean restaurant I've been to in all of Montreal, not to mention the beautiful location on the water. The patio was perfect for a warm fall day. The food was all very tasty, I really recommend the jerk chicken wrap & beef tacos. I'll definitely be coming back!
Delicious food but limited menu - mainly sandwiches & salad bowls withJamaican twist . Ordered the sweet chili chicken - all were missing the side - plantain chips . No explanation given . The atmosphere was nice with outdoor patio seating , good location & boat - watching . However , Service was not good as I had time to eat my meal order & eat dessert ( well over 1 hour ) , despite me continually asking for my drink & still did not receive my drink- simple mocktail while the others received theirs well before . Not sure if waitress was new or if they were short staffed . Also did not like the fact , that they had one shared bathroom ( one toilet only ) for an entire restaurant! Is that up to code / regulation in Quebec restaurant business ? LONG wait there as well ! Will not be coming back!

I visited SNS Lounge 8 for the first time two weeks ago while officiating a wedding as the minister celebrant, & I have to say wow! That place is absolutely gorgeous, & that's no understatement. The ceremony took place near the water with a stunning view that made the moment even more special. The staff were incredibly friendly & welcoming, which really added to the wonderful atmosphere. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!
