Certaines visites signalent toutefois une fluctuation de la qualité et des places assises limitées à certaines heures. L ambiance est cosy et dynamique, avec une cuisine ouverte et un décor qui rappelle le quartier, offrant une expérience authentique et conviviale. Le service est rapide et sympathique et l endroit situe dans le Vieux Montreal attire visiteurs et habitants pour une pause rapide ou un repas sur le pouce.
On my first trip to Montreal, I ended up walking about 12.5 kilometers through the city, exploring & taking photos-so by the time I spotted Slice + Soda, I had definitely worked up an appetite. I originally wandered in thinking they served poutine (because, let's be real, poutine & pizza sounds like a dream combo), but once I realized they didn't, I stuck around anyway. The cool vibe inside & the sight of a grinning customer walking out with three oversized boxes of pizza was all the convincing I needed.
The staff were friendly, bilingual, & super efficient. Service was fast, & I was able to grab a spot just in time before a line started forming. Seating is very limited-just a few stools lining the wall & one communal table that could fit maybe 4-6 people, so timing your visit definitely helps.
The interior is visually fun, with movie stills of iconic characters eating pizza plastered along the walls, & the whole place has this stylish, street-food-meets-film-nerd charm. I ordered a pepperoni slice that was literally bigger than my head, a soda, & some waffle-style fries that were crispy, seasoned, & way better than I expected.
There was a ton of construction outside, so the pedestrian traffic was pretty filtered & narrow-otherwise I imagine the place would've been absolutely packed.
Sure, pizza might not be top of the list for most tourists visiting Montreal, but if you're after a quick, cheap, & genuinely tasty lunch, Slice + Soda checks all the boxes. I'd absolutely go back.
Affordable & super-tasty NY-style pizza. They have some unique options & their soda choices are also really fun The ambiance inside is great too if you want to eat there - roomy & lowkey

If you are walking around the area is a good place to grab & go. Pizza is good but not the best. The staff is friendly & the place has a few high seats & 8 chairs on a big square table. They open late & you can swing by & eat quickly. Brooklyn style pizza, sodas. Nice decoration.
My go to pizzeria every time i visit Montreal . Most authentic brooklyn style pizza or italian style- i wouldnt know. But the quality, the freshness, the cheesyness , everything is so on point. 10/10
Nice little pizza place that was around the area that I was staying in so I thought I would give it a try. Got the trio combo which gives you a slice of pizza, a drink & fries which was a fairly good deal at $14 before tax. I got the prosciutto pizza slice with Bae soda. The pizza slice was really large which was nice to see. The soda also tasted great, had a fruity taste which paired well with the carbonated water for that fizz. The fries were waffle style with a spicy kick to it. Now on to the main course; after taking a bite of the slice, I have to say, it was one of the best pizza slices I've ever had in my life. The undercarriage was firm, nice amount of ingredients & incredible tasting tomato sauce. The prosciutto also tasted very great & combined all those flavours together. Incredible pizza with good portion sizes & a flavourful soda to top it off. Definitely a must try if you are in the area.
Un vrai coup de coeur ! Slice & Soda propose des pizzas new-yorkaises incroyables, des sodas créatifs & des cookies au top, le tout dans un décor vintage stylé. L'atmosphère est branchée, le service rapide & amical. Attention alerte pépite :)

We love New York style pizza, & this is some of the best we have ever tasted! Huge slices, somewhat of a sweet sauce & a great crust made for the perfect combination! Cesar salad was super tasty as well. Highly recommend!
Wow!! That pizza taste amazing, New York style pizza at its best! & the portions are incredibly generous. My kids & I also tried their homemade sodas, the mixes are delicious. We can't wait to go back!
