The hype around this restaurant is real! I definitely think it's worth every penny. Not a cheap eat by all means, but absolutely worth the experience. I love the twist they put on Lebanese Classics, as well as their unique menu items. If I could recommend one thing, it is their baklava pancakes! I could not finish it if my life depended on it, but I am so glad I tried it. The staff was also attentive & present. I would definitely recommend this brunch spot to anyone looking for something new & unique!
What an incredible brunch we had here! Thank you so much for a really magnificent meal. The service was excellent, the music was perfect, the ambiance & decor were wonderful. We had the mouhamara as a starter (holy moly it was good!) & then chicken & waffles & the makenek hash for our mains. Blown away by the flavors! All of the staff were really quick to help, & very friendly. 10/10 recommend & we'll be back for sure!
It's wonderful to have a delicious, healthy, vegan friendly brunch spot in Montréal that you can actually reserve for. Be warned that you only have 2 hours, but it's worth not waiting in line outside. The staff is professional & friendly, the service is fast & the food is authentic Middle Eastern flavours with a modern twist. Great mimosas, cocktails, boozy coffees & cocktails. Highly reccomended 👌
W🔥W! Vraiment le brunch était superbe! Le restaurant est plein donc faire une réservation est la meilleur chose à faire. #1- les plats sont vraiment bons, pas trop gros mais remplissant. L'assaisonnement est à point & pas trop salé. #2- Les boissons sont très bonnes mais légèrement dispendieux. Le bar est chaleureux & dynamique. #3- Le service est sympa, le staff souriant & dynamique. Mais lorsque le restaurant est plein tu peux voir le petit débordement J'ai hâte que la terrasse puisse s'ouvrir & enjoy le vibe de la place.
A group of us came here for brunch after seeing all the good reviews, we had the eggs Benedict, lamb Reuben & chicken & waffles. While the food was good, I found it odd that we didn't get any sides with our mains, especially for the price. Usually brunch places give potatoes or something on the side but the eggs benny come with nothing. Overall, the chicken & waffles were the best choice, fried very well with a nice sauce. Also they were playing club music on a Saturday afternoon which seemed like an odd choice. Overall not a bad choice but not the greatest brunch place in Montreal for sure.
We drove from Ottawa to try this restaurant because someone recommended it on social media. It did not disappoint. The manager was so pleasant & amazing. All the staff were extremely nice & made us feel like we were the only ones there (even though it was packed). I definitely recommend making a reservation! The food speaks for itself (view photos). Everything was delicious! We went for brunch & now we can't wait to go back for dinner! Highly recommend.

Overall it is a great place but definitely overrated. I ordered a Shay chai & at first it tasted like a glass of milk. Definitely not worth $10. There was no shot of espresso, chai or caramel mouse as claimed on the menu but when I asked the server to add a bit more chai to it, they remade the drink for me without any issues or without me having to ask for a new drink. The food was delicious & not overly expensive for brunch. We had the Shawarma Benedict, soujouk omelette & the baklava pancakes. The shawarma benedict was amazing, highly recommend & the rest of the dishes were great too. We went on a Saturday at noon & the place is packed, a bit loud as it is anywhere for brunch. I enjoyed it but I've also been to other brunch places that have better coffee/drinks & delicious food!
The were a little issue at our arrival, they didn't have our reservation even though we did talk to a hostess on the phone a week prior, we showed proof of our claim & after 15 minutes they finally told us they can arrange something, but that we only had an hour & a half to eat & enjoy our drinks so that was a bummer. They tried to make it up to us with shots which was appreciated. We were just sad because we wanted to enjoy our girls brunch properly. It was our first time too. But on to the positive stuff, food was amazing, absolutely delicious. We loved everything & they had a lot of variety.
I reserved this place for my birthday brunch & was very excited about going there. Unfortunately, the table they gave us was dirty, the seats were also wet, & we couldn't have access to our table on time. We had to wait 15-20 mins to have a semi clean table. I expected more from this place.
Ma récente expérience de brunch chez Shay à Montréal a été vraiment satisfaisante ! Leur menu propose une variété de plats brunch alléchants qui ont su combler nos attentes. Les plats étaient bien préparés & délicieux. j'ai particulièrement aimé le Saumon Gravlax Bénédictine, Shawarma Bénédictine & le Baklava Pancakes à tomber par terre.

Un lieu très classe & élégant avec une carte variée (aussi bien le menu brunch que le soir) & des plats délicieux & copieux! Leurs cocktails sont excellents également & le barman peut même ajouter sa touche personnelle au besoin. J'y suis retournée 2 fois dans la même journée & j'ai été ravie après chaque repas! J'y retournerai très prochainement! Seul bémol: la musique etait très forte lors du brunch & mon amie & moi devions presque crier pour s'entendre.
Food was disappointing. The shawarma eggs Benedict was very bland & tasteless. & the baklava pancakes were dry & way too sweet. The cream that was on top has a strange pasty & gummy texture that was very unpleasant.
The food visually looks appealing but the taste & flavors are lacking. Was very disappointed as the menu for brunch was so innovative.
