SHAY earns high praise for its vibrant atmosphere, flavorful modern Lebanese cuisine, and consistently attentive service, with guests noting generous portions and standout items like mezze dips and lamb dishes, shakshuka and baklava pancakes; brunch shines with creative twists such as shawarma eggs Benedict and labneh, while cocktails and a lively DJ vibe add to the welcoming, upbeat experience and make many say they will definitely return.
Food was absolutely delicious & reasonably priced (although that's relative) but great value for the money.
Ambiance is perfect, cool decor, fun music ( not too loud so you don't have to shout at the people across the table).
Service the first time we were there was excellent, second time the waiter was new ( it was only his second shift) so a bit lacking but he was so sweet & let us know that right away.
This is our new go-to in Montreal!!
Ps ( the Bao gels gel is to die for!!)
The place looks nice. Portions, however, are small & the quality is not that impressive. In total, it's a very overpriced place. I don't think I will be coming back. Lots of other nicer options out there.
I'm a huge fan of the food at Shay, so I decided to try their new brunch menu & as expected, it did not disappoint! Everything was delicious (especially the avocado toast). The ambiance, staff?everything there is always 5 star.
Nourriture bonne & service adéquat. Principal problème pour moi: ventilation non adéquate & odeur cuisson dans le restaurant (fumée) & vêtements impregnés de cette odeur. Pour moi, à corriger!
