SHAY earns high praise for its vibrant atmosphere, flavorful modern Lebanese cuisine, and consistently attentive service, with guests noting generous portions and standout items like mezze dips and lamb dishes, shakshuka and baklava pancakes; brunch shines with creative twists such as shawarma eggs Benedict and labneh, while cocktails and a lively DJ vibe add to the welcoming, upbeat experience and make many say they will definitely return.
Delicious, fresh food, exceptional service! We ordered the fried chicken, sumac fries, hummus & lamb shawarma, & babajanush. I had a mocktail Boucan's Vacation which tasted like a fancy lemonade. Well done, will come back again!
SO GOOD! Variety is the name of the game at Shay ... The Mixed Grill offers a good cross-section of proteins (chicken breast, lamb chops, kofta kebab, filet) & comes with a side of fingerling potatoes & 2 sauces (garlic & tahini).

amazing, delicious & unique food, with complex & interesting flavours. Service was kind & lovely. Even though it was a fancy place, it did not feel pretentious at all. Space is gorgeous. Highly recommend.
Souper de célébrations, je n'ai eu que des excellents commentaires de l'ensemble des membres du groupe. Excellent service, qualité & quantité des plats. Soirée très réussi.
I read an article on MTL blog about Montréal's great Lebanese brunch restaurant; & it was very positive & I was very intrigued. Brunch is one of my favorite meals to have with my sister & friends. I went to Shay which I made reservations for a week ago. The restaurant is big, spacious & beautiful. The service initially was over the top, the waiter came by every two minutes, that's how I felt. Then by the end, when I wanted to order coffee & tea, & ask for the bill, it was hard to get the attention of our waiter. Food & drink wise; the presentation was lovely. I would not say that it was the best brunch ever because the taste wasn't beyond amazing. In the end, the tea was presented by the Turkish tea set, it was mesmerizing. I would definitely recommend for everyone to try the Lebanese brunch spot.
Everything was delicious & the space is beautiful. The lamb chops & hummus with mushrooms are highly recommended. The cocktail list is very creative. The only downside was that the food arrived so fast & the servers checked in so frequently that it felt very rushed. Less than halfway through our seating window we were surprised to be finished. But it was a delicious meal.
