My friends & I went for brunch this morning & we booked in advance. The restaurant had a nice ambiance, & the food was tasty. However, the food arrived at the table cold & I asked the waitress to return all the meals & serve hot. We liked the food presentation, & we ordered Baklava Pancakes, & Shawarma & Eggs Benedict. Overall, I found the food tasty, delicious aside from the fact that The lamb in the Shawarma & Eggs benedict didn't smell good.
Absolutely gorgeous restaurant serving contemporary & revisited Lebanese/Middle Eastern dishes conceived to be shared. Apart from creative, the food is of excellent quality. Unfortunately, I was alone so I couldn't try as many dishes as I'd have liked. In any case, the fatoush-inspired tuna tartare is a must have. The lamb kebab, although very good, was a bit stronger in terms of taste, so it became a bit too much for only myself. They have a large selection of cocktails too. The Apricot Margarita with Zataar & Sumac was very good (although I would've preferred it to be sour instead of sweet). The one thing that could be improved is the by-the-glass wine selection.

Nous sommes allé souper au Shay en ayant entendu parler de l'endroit. Étant de fervent amateurs de Damas & autres restaurants de cuisine du moyen-orient (Sirènes / Daou etc) nous avions des attentes élevées... Malheureusement au niveau de la cuisine nous avons été déçus. Le poulet était trop cuit / les préparations manquaient globalement de fraîcheur (préparé trop à l'avance...). Le service était bon mais le restaurant avait clairement une problématique d'éclairage qui rendait l'expérience légèrement désagréable.
C'était délicieux! C'était ma première fois. On a été un peu surpris quand on nous a dit qu'il valait mieux prendre 7 plats (on était 4)pour partager pour pouvoir manger à sa faim en consultant le menu sur le site web, on serait peut être pas venu parce qu'on trouvait cela un peu dispendieux) mais c'était un bon conseil de votre staff on a adoré l'expérience de partager les plats.

Les plats étaient vraiment un hit or miss, certaines choses étaient très bonnes & d'autres laissaient à désirer. Globalement la nourriture est arrivée froide à table. La serveuse était super (merci Rachelle!)
Parmi les plats qu'on avait pris y avait la Shakshouka. La texture était très liquide & ne ressemblait pas à la texture ordinaire d'une shakshouka comparativement aux photos ou à la dernière fois, elle n'était pas bonne. Le cappuccino nous a été servi froid également.
Une des serveuses qui nous a servi s'est trompé sur le plat de mon amie, mon amie lui a fait la réflexion gentiment , celle-ci n'a pas été très aimable dans sa réponse & selon elle c'était de la faute de mon amie & non de la sienne. A la fin au moment de payer, étant donné que nous n'avons pas été satisfaite du service, nous n'avons pas donné de gros pourboires ce qui n'a pas enchanté la serveuse.
