Just decided to go down on a random Sunday & it was everything we expected the food was really good & came out fast but wasn't hot . We wanted a table but good luck getting one just walking in even if it's 2:30 pm . The bartender/ servers where excellent but I have to take 1 star away because the music was way to loud & we got sat at the bar when tables stayed empty the whole time we sat & eat

Mentioned to the waiter that I wanted to order vegan dishes, which he was very happy to point out on the menu. However, the kitchen did not deliver, as they left in the cheese & butter on the avocado toast, & on the replacement dish, still left in butter.

The food presentation is really beautiful & the decor is on point. The prices are a bit high for what you get & there's basically labneh in every dish so it gets redundant. If you don't like labneh, you've been warned. Very noisy so you have to yell to be heard by your friends at the table.

Phenomenal food 👌 This is probably my top Middle Eastern restaurant in Montreal. Try as much as you can from the tapas style menu as each dish is fantastic. Lovely decor, wonderfully helpful service. Parking in the area is a challenge. Fortunately, they offer valet for $15.

I was greeted by the Manager & felt very welcomed & appreciated. Our waitress Rachel went above & beyond to offer the best service. The food was out of this world. Every bite a happy one. We will definitely recommend & come back again & again. Thank you Shay!!!!

What a great experience... first of all...Valet parking is really great in montreal :) We were a pretty big group & the seating area where we were was nice ....as soon as i sat down the waiter was already there....i did not have to wait 2 order drinks the service was amazing all thru the night. That was great & i told the waiters all night! The food was not only delicious but the plates looked so good...the Tuna omg ....lamb....the hummus...wow! The kitchen does a really good job Bravo! The staff was just great ! I will go back for sure.

We had a great time at Shay, during our first-time visit. Our table was right where we had asked for when reserving for our anniversary dinner. Our waiter was a delight, knowledgeable & made a number of tasty recommendations. Food was delicious & so was the Amarone wine we had. Service was impeccable & the four of us enjoyed the atmosphere throughout. We will be back :) !
