Ma récente expérience de brunch chez Shay à Montréal a été vraiment satisfaisante ! Leur menu propose une variété de plats brunch alléchants qui ont su combler nos attentes. Les plats étaient bien préparés & délicieux. j'ai particulièrement aimé le Saumon Gravlax Bénédictine, Shawarma Bénédictine & le Baklava Pancakes à tomber par terre.Voir plus

Recently visited Shay & the food was amazing, but I was most impressed with their service. I was dining with a large group & we decided to order the meat & seafood platters to share, along with some appetizers. Unfortunately for me, everyone else liked their meat cooked medium but I eat meat well done because of major sensory issues. My colleague asked if some pieces could be cooked well done for me, but the server had a great suggestion that they bring the platter prepared medium, I could pick out what I wanted to eat, & then she would bring my food back to the kitchen to be cooked more. I know some people might think that's not great because my food wasn't ready at the same time, but I thought it was the perfect compromise where I didn't have to inconvenience the majority of the group to get exactly what I wanted. They even brought back my food pretty quickly on a new dish decorated with some extra veggies & dip. There wasn't a second of hesitation to accommodate me in a shared food setting & that really stood out to everyone at the table.Voir plus

So the best sign that you chose the right restaurant is a crowd waiting outside in the snow before opening... & that's exactly what happened when we booked "Shay" during our last visit to Montreal. This place is so worth all the hype. The food was absolutely delicious, the service impeccable (we felt like we were just hanging with friends) & the cocktail tree was worth every penny. We are hooked & will be making this our staple for future visits. Damien, our server, was a delight with incredible energy that completely added to our positive experience. Un lieu très classe & élégant avec une carte variée (aussi bien le menu brunch que le soir) & des plats délicieux & copieux! Leurs cocktails sont excellents également & le barman peut même ajouter sa touche personnelle au besoin. J'y suis retournée 2 fois dans la même journée & j'ai été ravie après chaque repas! The food was pretty delicious, & the place had a nice vibe! I just didn't love the service, because it was very much lacking. Our waitress just didn't seem like a kind person, & she even spilled a few things on some of us at the table - never apologized for the inconvenience of that... kind of bizarre behaviour. I'd go back for the food but definitely hope to be served by someone happy to be there as part of the staff.Voir plus
