Great service, nice staff, the presentation was on point. We went there for supper. What we had & we absolutely loved were Fried Brussel sprouts, Hummus & mushrooms & Sumec fries. The best cocktail was the Habibi. The valet parking was very convenient. For vegetarians, the Fattet Batinjein (eggplant, impossible kafta) is a must try. It was sooooo good! I never made it as a blind man & I couldn't cut it as a poor man stealing, but that brunch is a can't miss in Montreal in my opinion! If you are a fan of sweets this one's for you!
This place was almost perfect. Lovely decor, great service & considerate hosts, who were happy to recommend but left it up to us. The food was almost perfect. Some of the best Lebanese mains I've ever had but sadly the dessert & drinks lacked something. My cocktail was original but didn't seem to have much alcohol in it at all. Personally I like to have fairly strong cocktails as otherwise it just feels like drinking juice. The baklava at the end was some of the worst I've had. Taste wise it was fine but very dry, papery & not something I wanted to finish. It may be that I'm lucky where I live (Austria) with a huge Turkish population & Turkish bakeries. The tiramisu was ok but again we've had better. It really would have been an absolutely 5 star evening if the dessert had been up to the standard of the rest of the meal. It is 100% worth a visit though, & in my opinion not too expensive for the standard they provide.Voir plus

Je suis allé souper chez SHAY tout récemment, pour une activité professionnelle, & j'ai été ébloui par la qualité de la nourriture. Such a nice place for brunch, we were visiting Montreal & wanted a nice relaxed place to grab good food & drinks. It gets super busy at around noon & would recommend you make a reservation. We were a group of 5 plus a baby & the staff were super friendly. The patio was really nice & the food has an interesting western twist to it. We got the ful, Nutella French toast (a must try), labneh toast, eggs & everything was tasty. They have fresh orange juice as well. The only tough part is finding street parking around, but the restaurant offers valet parking for $15.Voir plus

Delicious food, amazing service, & good ambiance (maybe too loud for a restaurant). I've tried many middle eastern restaurants & I can say that SHAY is one of the best with a great quality food. this is my favorite brunch spot in the city. i went a little while back in april & sat at the bar. i was super impressed with the speed of the service & the freshness of the food. i got the labneh dish & the flavour profile was complex yet comfortable. i wish i had more room to try the french toast & shakshuka. next time. you must go when in the city.Voir plus
