Our family decided to visit this place because it was rated highly on google. To our disappointment, it didn't meet our expectations. We got the baklava pancakes, avocado toast, the shawarma eggs benedict & the makanek hash. I have a peanut allergy & I ordered the baklava pancakes. I'm not allergic to pistachios so I thought it'd be safe. It had big pieces of peanut. Even worse, when we ordered, none of the staff or waitresses asked for any dietary restrictions, unlike all the other restaurants I've been to. Also, some of my family members got a bad stomach ache after eating their meals. Plus, the Avocado Toast was, in my opinion, very over salted. The only positive part is the staff is friendly. The, I assume, manager saw us taking photos & offered to take a group photo. As well as the other staff members who were glad to speak to us in English since we didn't know how to speak French.Voir plus

Great experience. We shared the baklava pancakes & falafel latke, both were delicious. Portion of the falafel latke was a bit smaller but the pancakes were huge! Did a side of breakfast potatoes as well which were very tasty. Loved the middle eastern fusion in the dishes!Voir plus

We had the best brunch at Shay with a large group for a Bachelorette! Top brunch spot in the city, It's such a hidden gem. The service was 10/10. Kat was the best, everything was perfect. The food was so so good, & the coffees were also delicious. Vibes are wonderful, great pictures. Highly recommend for a group or Bachelorette outing! A new discovery & definetly will be back. Had Sunday brunch a few weeks ago with my niece. We received a warm welcome from the hostess & the service was top notch. Mon nouveau brunch spot préféré! D'abord le resto est super beau, la terrasse est magnifique, située au 2e étage & couverte, on peut l'apprécier peu importe la température. Les plats sont délicieux. Tellement savoureux, bien âpretés & TRÈS généreux sur les portions. Les pancakes au baklava sont divins, le pain doré a une texture de rêve, croustillante & tendre & moelleux à la fois. Le service est rapide & courtois. Ça serait bien un peu plus de choix au niveau café (ça semble être plus axé sur les cocktails) & c'est sûr que c'est un peu dispendieux mais pour les portions, c'est raisonnable. J'ai essayé le restaurant shay pour la première fois hier on était assis sur la terrasse moi & mon amie. Nous avons pris le basturma & le Mouhamara en entrée & les shish barak & champignons comme repas principal tout était incroyable & délicieux mais le cloue du spectacle était vraiment notre serveuse Rachel douce a l'écoute & attentionné si vous avez la chance demander pour elle car c'est une vrai perle vous n'allez pas le regretter.Voir plus
