Finally tried Shawarma Moods on Monk Street & it did not disappoint.

I wrote to them on Instagram right away to tell them how fantastic they really are !

The chicken shawarma is incredibly well seasoned & juicy, with that perfect balance of spices. Everything tasted super fresh the potatoes were crispy, the garlic sauce was amazing, & the pickled turnips added that perfect tangy bite.

You can really tell they care about quality & flavor here. As someone who loves trying new spots around Montreal, this one instantly stood out. I first saw their viral crispy sandwich online & knew I had to try them & now it's officially next on my list.

So happy to have a spot like this in the neighborhood on Monk Street. Highly recommend if you're craving authentic, flavorful shawarma.

Merci a Mo, celui qui fait les sandwichs & plats, il a changer de cuillère pour la salade parce que ma mere est alergique au Blé. Il la fait avec enthousiasme & je l'apprécie bcp! J'aime beaucoup ce restaurant, les gens sont super gentil & aime leur travail, ca parait!

I really liked this place. It is very clean & the staff were super friendly & personable. The crispy wrap is worthy of a try & a retry. The music was a little loud when we first arrived but once more customers arrived it was turned down quickly. The bags & logos & everything were super chic & really eye-catching....to me their menu items seemed to be an elevated, healthier version of then you might see in other shawarma sandwich restaurants. Oh, & the garlic sauce is grrrrreat!

Je suis venue avec mon fiancé après avoir entendu parler de ce restaurant sur les réseaux sociaux. Dès notre entrée, le restaurant était presque vide (3-4 personnes maximum) & pourtant personne ne nous a adressé la parole pendant environ 6 minutes. Nous attendions debout, sans accueil.

Quand la caissière est finalement venue, elle n'était pas souriante & a pris notre commande sans aucune chaleur. Nous avons ensuite attendu 15 minutes pour un simple sandwich saj au poulet, un chacun.

L'ambiance générale ne nous a pas mis à l'aise. Après 15 minutes, j'ai vu le cuisinier peser le poulet avec une balance avant de le mettre dans le sandwich, ce qui m'a vraiment choquée. Quand je paie, je m'attends à une bonne quantité & un bon service, pas à compter les grammes. Pour un restaurant rapide ils sont très lent .

Le sandwich était très sec, avec très peu de poulet, un peu de salade & un peu de tout, mais rien de satisfaisant. Surtout quand on compare avec d'autres endroits comme les shawarmas, où les portions sont généreuses & les sandwichs juteux.

Je donne 3/10 maximum. Pour moi, c'était une grosse déception, & ce sera ma dernière visite. Je ne recommande pas.
