1st time at this restaurant & was not disappointed
I have service 4 stars instead of 5 because I had to ask twice for the dessert menu & that part was to long otherwise service was excellent. We tried the salmon & beef tartares & both were delicious, served with a nice house salad, thin soft fries & some perfectly crisp bread croutons for the tartare. I had a very generous spicy margarita. The dessert was their Pudding Chomeur which was served warm with a scoop of ice cream. The pudding was a little too dry for my taste
Monday nights for now had great specials on burgers & to my delight tartares! I will definitely return..
The Food: Calamari, tartare, Huge Cheese Burger & dessert were Amazing. We even got a Bottle of wine all for 100$ including taxes with there Valentine's Day promotion. Wow!! Great staff! We will be going back for sure 👍.

Super restaurant!! Belle ambiance, bon service, & nourriture délicieuse. J'ai commandé le mac n cheese & les nachos en entree, & le burger petit-crotté en repas. Tout était délicieux!! Rien de négatif à dire, j'y retournerai!!
SHAKER Centropolis is a fun spot with a lively atmosphere & a big menu. The burgers & cocktails are highlights, especially if you're going out with friends. Service is generally friendly, & the place has a great vibe for evenings & weekends. Prices are reasonable for the portion sizes, though it can get busy & noisy at peak times. Overall, a solid choice for casual dining & drinks.
We visited Shaker in Laval because it offered a children's menu, but what we didn't expect was just how fantastic the whole experience would be.
Ambience: The restaurant has plenty of seating & an open, welcoming atmosphere that made it easy to relax as a family.
Kids' Meals: Generous portions & delicious flavors! Our kids loved the General Tao, poutine, spaghetti, & juicy burger - each dish was a hit.
Adult Meals: I enjoyed the 6oz bavette, cooked perfectly & full of flavor. My wife had the beet salad topped with warm fried goat cheese, which was fresh, vibrant, & satisfying.
Such a beautiful restaurant to have a meal!
I ordered the flank steak & my husband had steak too.
The gravy tasted so good - I loved it!
We'll definitely be coming back soon to try the burger 🍔😋

Food came after half an hour which is not acceptable. probably they forgot to punch the order. I worked in the restaurant many years & I can image the scenarios ;)
Service was bad from male bartender but ladies took care of us after him.
I ordered peach love & 7em ciel for cocktails. I really liked them.
I ordered Le Big Boss for main. It was okay
My friends ordered desserts, too. Brownie was good but other dessert was not good.

J'ai visité le Shaker pour la première fois aujourd'hui pour le lunch. Beau décor grand, lumineux & avec une belle ambiance qui donne envie d'y retourner pour une soirée. Le poulet général tao était excellent & mon fils a adoré son burger. Portions généreuses même dans le menu enfant & j'ai bien aimé mon mocktail. Excellent service également. J'y retournerai sans hésiter !
The first time I came was in the winter time & it took about 30 mins to just get water. We were about to leave but we got it just before so. I decided to give them a second chance by coming this summer. The service was still really bad. It took about 10 mins for us to get seated (there were a lot of empty tables, so it shouldn't take long). Being served was even worse. Our server would make us wait so long for us to order & it took equally as long to get our meals. Some tables were served first, even though they arrived after us. Our server gave us the wrong order even though we asked numerous times which burger was which. Food was alright for the price. The fries were tasty. Best part of the restaurant was the drinks & I have only good things to say about it.
I saw this restaurant during a bus ride. We walked in from Pierre-Peladeau ave. however the lady said the main entrance is on the opposite side. The restaurant is huge & there's plenty of seatings. :D
By the entrance, there was a free wine tasting, but none of us were drinkers.
I ordered the veggie burger: vegan patty, lettuce, tomato, pickles, red onion & vegan burger sauce. The burgers are served with fries & homemade mayonnaise. But I switched them for onion rings which are beer battered & served with honey. They were sweet!
We bought card games & played while waiting for our foods. It was the perfect atmosphere for that.
They have an interesting dessert menu, however nothing vegan.

Lets start with the service.
Our waiter was Andrew, amazing service, 5 stars for that.
I took the onion soup, was ok, but too salty for my taste. Cheese on it looked like one of those single kraft process cheese slice.
We also had Toa chicken wings, those were good.
We got a chicken burger, desapointing, chicken was overcooked & dry. Mcdo chicken burger taste better.
Also frech fries cost pennies, the portion was ridiculous.
Took the salmon, that was a disaster. I asked medium-raw & got well done.
Asked them to redo it & the second serving was almost raw.
We took the pouding chomeur, saying it was ok its me being generous.
It had potential, but in the name of saving money I suppose, the middle was dry, not enough of the sauce while cooking it, as a result the outside was moist & delicious, but the middle was dry.
I am rating it 3 stars & not less because I am trying to keep an open mind & reminding myself that it is a resto-bar & not a'real' restaurant per say.
Last point, toilet werent that clean.
Might sound pointless to some, but if they cant keep their toilet clean, imagine how the kitchen must look like.
I removed a star because they contacted me trying to make up for our bad experience. Then they never followed up on their offer after we answered back
Une première & nous allons y retourner! Le service était génial, la bouffe excellente! Un des meilleurs resto rapport qualité/prix. J'ai pris le tartare saumon, érable & chèvre. Mon conjoint le hamburger classique - le meilleur burger qu'il a mangé.
I dropped by SHAKER Laval & ordered The Boss Burger with a side of salad & sweet potato fries, plus two Peach Love cocktails-& let me say, it was a hit from start to finish.
The Boss Burger was absolutely stacked! Two thick, juicy patties cooked just right, layered with cheddar, Swiss cheese, bacon, pickles, & crisp romaine lettuce-all in a soft, toasted bun. Every bite was bursting with flavor, & the burger held up surprisingly well despite its towering build. It definitely lives up to its name.
The sweet potato fries were crispy on the outside & tender on the inside, with just the right touch of seasoning-no need for extra sauce. The side cesar salad was fresh & vibrant, a nice light balance to the richness of the burger.
The Peach Love cocktails were a great surprise-fruity, refreshing, & beautifully served in mason jars. The peach flavor was smooth & not overly sweet, making it easy to sip & enjoy without it overpowering the meal.
Atmosphere: SHAKER Laval had a lively, upbeat vibe with great energy. The place was busy but not overwhelming, with a modern decor & a cool, youthful crowd. Music added to the fun without making it hard to talk.
Service: Friendly & quick, even with a packed house. The food came out hot & fresh, & drinks were served promptly with a smile.
Overall, SHAKER Laval delivered a great dining experience. Bold flavors, creative drinks, & a fun atmosphere-I'll definitely be coming back.
Waiter was alone for lunch time, there was at least 8 tables when I was there. He was doing host, make drinks & his job. I don't know if it was the manager on the otherside. But he could help it out instead of staring at his screen. Burger was okay.
Fries didn't has salt even if there were spicies, but feel blend.

Food was good, but not enough sauce inside my chicken burger. It was dry & chicken was over fried. I ordered the habanero chicken burger with an extra patty. I got a sangria roses which was really good. The atmosphere was ok the music wasn't great. The dj was playing just techno music. The last time I went the music was amazing. The dj played music from the 80's, 90's & today.
Le service a été bien, mais beaucoup de personnes s'est accumulé à l'entrée & ça à pris quelques minutes pour que un hôte viens nous accueillir. Le resto était plein , nous avons eu une table à côté de l'escalier en haut . J'étais pas trop alaise. Une table plus loin à été libéré & on a demandé de changer. Le 2 plats de entrée on été le tarte de saumon & les mini pogo. Les portions sont vraiment pas généreuse 2 craquelins fin que se casse pour mangé le tarte de 12$ & le mini pogo sont 2 & c'est une bouché chacune 12$ . Pour être honnête c'est vraiment décevant par la suite le burger & les frites . Les frites sont mince & mole . Mon chum a laissé les frites de côté , j'ai pris la poutine au homard & crevettes. C'était pas mal ,mais les frites je comprends pas . J'ai eu mal au ventre tout la soirée. & j'ai pris seulement un mojito au framboise qui était bon. Je ne reviendra pour mangé. Les drinks sont bons !
Everything was just average. General Tao salad was boxed version of chicken bites coated lightly with sauce, salad dressing was very bland as were the noodles under the whole pile. Burger was thin piece of meat that resembled a McDonald's special menu cheeseburger. Service was non existant except to remove plates while we were still eating. Too noisy to hear one another during dinner hour.
