About Us
A 17th branch will land in Laval at the beginning of 2023 ! The restaurant will be in the Centropolis, one of the largest restaurant complexes in the province which has been in the sights of the chain’s leaders for a long time.
With 350 seats inside and 120 seats on the terrace, it will be one of the largest branches. The metropolitan area of Montreal will therefore have two SHAKER restaurants since an establishment has been open since 2019 in the heart of downtown on St-Laurent Boulevard.

All he had to say was the second server told him he didn't know & that it was up to my daughter to be more vigilant & she was given a 50$ gift card first her trouble!!! Not what i wanted to hear. I had to insist that he makes sure that all servers need to be aware of the seriousness if allergies & that they should automatically bring the allergen menu before taking an order, as there is no mention of peanuts in the regular menu. The director said they don't do that because they only have 2 allergen menu. Bravo. I asked that potential deadly allergen be written in the regular menu & his answer was it would be impossible to change all the menus in all the Shaker restaurants!! So instead of reassuring me that he is really sorry this happened & that he will make sure to have a serious talk with his servers & let the owners know about what could be done to prevent this happening again, he repeated many times the error was the second server did not know as if that's actually what happened & end if story!! Will be telling many people this to make sure to avoid this restaurant ad they do not have the safety of their clients at heart!" I am completely at a loss for words & disbelief in the manner the manager talked to me with his complete lack of empathy . Whatever happened to the client first! At no time did he express concern to what happened or mention that this situation shouldn't have happened & that he will do everything in his power to make sure this doesn't happen again!!! On the contrary all he said was how the error was that the second server told him he didn't know & that my daughter should've seen the peanuts in the brownie ! She said that she could see walnuts & that the waiter mentioned the peanuts were in the sauce! But whatever happened to owning up in the name of your staff & reassuring the client that this will never happen again!!! I need to hear from someone what will be done about this. DON'T COME HERE IF YOU HAVE AN ALLERGY!! Had an allergic reaction at this restaurant last night, even though waiter was aware of my allergy. When ordering dessert, I went with the "Brownie qui tue", not knowing it could actually KILL ME. There are PEANUTS in the sauce but isn't mentioned in their menu. After one bite, my throat flared up & I had to go to the hospital. When contacting the restaurant manager the next day day, I got BLAMED for not reiterating to the waiter that I had an allergy. He also mentioned that it is visible there are nuts in the brownie once it arrives, hinting I should have known not to eat it (even though the peanuts aren't on the brownie itself, but rather in the sauce). All excuses pointing that I am to blame for their INCOMPETENCE.... I did my part by telling them I had an allergy at the beginning of the service. They did not do their job by ensuring my safety, & failed to own up to their mistakes which is even more disappointing & frustrating ... I was given a 50$ gift card as compensation, as if I'd want to back to a a restaurant that puts my life at risk....
Très mauvaise expérience avec la serveuse au bar. Nous avions commandé 3 shooters qui sont sur votre site pour le prix de 4.99$ chaque. Nous avons reçu la borne de paiement avec un montant à payer de 31$, ce qui ne fait aucun sens. Nous avons donc décidés de ne remettre aucun pourboire sur la borne & de lui remettre un plus petit montant en argent cash qu'un pourcentage de 31$, car en plus d'être un vol d'argent c'est aussi une manière de recevoir plus de tip. Avant qu'on puise lui remettre l'argent cash elle nous dit : « vous allez les attendre longtemps en esti vos shooters. ». Elle sert absolument tous les clients possibles autour de nous clairement afin de nous faire patienter le plus longtemps possible. Elle va même jusqu'à dire à tous les autres barmans de ne pas venir nous voir juste pour qu'on attende plus longtemps. Tout ça parce qu'elle nous fraude avec le montant des shooters pour avoir plus d'argent au final. C'est finalement lorsque ce qui semble être une gérante vienne nous voir qu'on a finalement reçu nos shooters après 20 minutes d'attente. C'est inacceptable comme situation & je ne recommanderais à personne de sortir au shaker au Centropolis. Ce n'est aussi pas la première fois qu'on me charge des prix exorbitants pour des shooters à cet endroit.

J'avais demandé une banquette & plusieurs étaient disponibles à notre arrivée. On nous a assigné une place dans le passage (endroit avec beaucoup de circulation). On a pu changer de place, mais sur le bord de la fenêtre où il faisait froid. J'avais réserver il y a près d'un mois alors j'étais déçue. Nous avons eu toutefois un excellent service de notre serveur & avons bien aimé ce que nous avons mangé. Tout était excellent!

Tellement rapide comme service que j'ai eu mon entrée avant ma première consommation de bière...& ambiance correcte mais sans plus,j'aurais pris un spectacle de jongleur pendant mon repas 😉

Aucun accueil à l'entrée. Attente même si réservation à cause que pas d'accueil. Service moyen . Nourriture très longue attente. Il n'y avait pas tous les ingrédients de mon humburger dans le plat . Mais frites délicieuses .

First time here for a birthday. Atmosphere was nice, staff was nice, but our for took forever to get! Waiter was apologetic, but regardless, we waited close to 45 minutes to eat.

Pour avoir bu des boissons de la mixologie au restaurant de Saint-Jérome, ceux que j'ai consommé hier au restaurant de Laval, n'étaient vraiment pas à la hauteur. J'ai été très déçue. Les tartares étaient vraiment excellent pas contre. Beaucoup trop brutant par contre pour ma part. Merci

Le service était vraiment lent , 2 tables arrivées après nous on eu leur boissons avant & entrées avant.
Le serveur était non chaland & que dire de la jeune fille qui servait les boissons , perdue ! Sérieusement ça faisait dure hier. J'avais demandé des croûtons, jamais eu , nous avons attenduent 20mins avant que le seveur vient prendre notre commande & attendu 20mins pour un pichet de bière & un coktail .
Je suis super déçue.

Nous avons terminé de mangé à 19:30 puisqu'on nous avait indiqué avoir la table seulement 2hrs. Vers 19:50 pas de signe de la serveuse.. nous demandons donc au jeune garçon qui nettoye le table d'aviser notre serveuse comme quoi nous aimerons avoir notre facture. Déjà 20 minutes sans la voir, elle vient nous voir & nous dit « donc vous aller rien prendre d'autre » de façon vraiment bête . Nous lui demandons la facture & un autre 10 minutes passe avant de les avoir... en tout cas très deçu du service donné par megan lanoville.

Je connais bien le Shaker car j'y suis souvent allée à Québec & à Gatineau. C'était m'a première visite à Laval, mon amie & moi étions assise au bar. Le service était vraiment ordinaire. Les employés derrière le comptoir semble épuisés & vraiment dans le rush. Des machine à fabriquer des cocktails en série. Aucun sourire de la part de ceux qui était près de nous & quand j'avais besoin de quelque chose, j'avais l'impression de les déranger. Notre serveuse nous as à peine souri pendant la soirée , elle m'apparaissait antipathique comme la plupart des autres employés derrière le bar. À chaque fois que je désirais un verre supplémentaire ou quelque chose je devais attendre d'avoir un contact visuel avec ma serveuse & ce n'était pas évident. Elle nous as pas adressé la parole de la soirée. Lorsque tu décides de t'installer au bar, tu t'attends à un service courtois & sympathique. Souvent c'est grâce à la barmaid ou le barman que l'ambiance est le fun à cet endroit du resto. Ils permettent d'initier la conversation avec les autres personnes du bar. Bref, les employés était vraiment froid & distant & nous n'avons pas apprécié notre soirée à cause de ça! Heureusement que la nourriture était excellente.

Nous voulions téléphoner le resto pour les aviser que nous étions 2 au lieu de 3 & le resto ne répondait jamais, c'est la seule chose que je déplore.

Franchement très déçu de la qualité de la nourriture. Un burger de poulet dont la galette est identique aux produits surgelés à l'épicerie avec une panure franchement ordinaire & de la mayo comme seul condiment. Je fais beaucoup mieux à la maison.
Mon conjoint a commandé la bavette de boeuf qui était minuscule. Très ordinaire également.
On ne s'attend pas à une nourriture extraordinaire dans ce genre de restaurant mais malgré tout, c'était vraiment très en dessous de nos attentes. Terminé pour nous, nous n'y retournerons plus.
